  • Ha hah!

    I like the ending.

  • their only good album and its amazing sorry thursday fans

  • disgrace. this is teenage girl music. ian curtis could not be any further from this douche singer.

  • @FuckingStanz Die.

  • @FuckingStanz A song dedicated to someone should really not be called a disgrace

  • Swag .

  • If you disliked this then fuck you.

  • why the hell did they feel the need to create such a terrible tribute

    i hate it so much

  • ian curtis kick you!!!!!

  • this is not ian curtis, go fuck yourself

  • Good song. They have that sorta whiny pop punk voice(which I normally hate, but I like the singer's voice) do they have any more songs like this.

  • i think you're 8...with no hope...step into the fucking room filled with heart and soul you fucking haters...thursday is life...thursday is love...thursday is god

  • @earzmundo jesus, thats a little intense now isnt it.

  • They formed like 15 minutes from my house.

  • such a good tribute song

  • you people are fucking morons

  • I think, Ian Curtis would like this.

  • I haven't been able to find this cd forever. And now that I'm listening to this song it really makes me miss it. They just aren't the same now. Waiting and Full Collapse were truly their best albums.

  • not bad

  • Ian got an Warsaw Cover, thousands of love will tear us apart covers, many Shadowsplays he definately don't deserve that teenie crap song. Listen to the Swing Kids - Warsaw that's a real tribute

  • @likelylike Thursday wrote a song, Swing Kids covered a song. Two different things, and Thursday sound more like Acrobatic Tenement-era ATDI than "teenie crap".

  • @likelylike fuck off you bloody bloke

  • A song that epitomizes late emo music, and lyrics about one of my favorite musicians. this song is god tier.

  • it has been 11 years

  • this is for ian

  • i used to be into these guys when waiting first came out.

i followed them up to War All The Time and then gave up.

but these first two albums are still pretty awesome.

  • @musicforchewfaygs your dumb thursday has stayed true until 2011

  • @kevmoAKAthursday i never said they didn't "stay true". i don't even know what you mean by true. i just said i gave up on them. i still listen to waiting quite regularly, and sometimes i pop in full collapse, but not as much anymore. a lot of bands in this genre have lost their appeal to me, it's nothing personal, just a change in taste.

  • @musicforchewfaygs -i understand your point, i personally am pretty excited for Thursday's new album, but to tell you the truth as you mature and get older you start losing interest in hardcore. I haven't lost interest in hardcore yet, but I know it will happen at some time, you can't be 80 years old and listening to black flag lol

  • i loved ths song as a kid.. and still do now. rock on thursday

  • thursday ??? what a fuck shit is that?? EMOs musics??? Marica Music??

  • Hey, I've seen far worse tributes. The FOB cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart is SHITE!

  • @vanuaturocks soooo true

  • Holy shit, this is awful.

  • Hmmm... If I want to hear a tribute to Ian Curtis I definitely prefer "Missing Boy" by "Durutti Column".

I'm sorry, but this this screeching is really awful.

  • @chacha, i bet u think ur shit doesnt stink too. middle aged people stuck trying to find the "glory" days, funny. we know u dont understand todays music, and dont want u too. stay in ur bubble please. ur so bold! u deserve a medal..................

  • YoPappee is right. awful.....geez today's music...makes me sick.

This has nothing to do with Ian Curtis,

I'm a huge fan of Joy Division and Curtis himself.....but to me they just seem to slip his name in the song and say "love has torn us apart" and "heart and soul"......this could've been deeper.....but yeah, this is shit.....(just stating my bold opinion--so thumbs down for me?)

  • Actually it is about Ian Curtis and his suicide. The whole cd deals with suicide awareness and prevention. Claiming that you're "just stating (your) opinion" isn't an excuse for just talking down about something. That's your first reaction, fine, but learning a little more might open your eyes as to why people like this, or anything in general. It applies to all things in life :)

  • its still awful

  • This is a good song but it is so negative and creepy.

  • theyre best album by far

  • hello mate

  • wow how could they use the name of a legend for this..

  • cause its a tribute to him

  • I'm Not One For Thursday.

But Man, They Did A Good Tribute, Didn't They!

  • Umm...this is horrible.

  • So ein schlechtes Lied ist ne Beleidigung für Ian

  • thursday is my favorite non metal band because there not metal or emo or punk they just are

  • @metalthrasherdawson I disagree, I think they are emo along with screamo and post - hardcore. I'm just saying what I think, I don't wanna start an argument on Youtube

  • @Kingopersia they are pretty much took what 90s emo bands like You And I and Portrait where doing and made it more accesible and polished.

  • @YouthClash dont forget sunny day real estate, in my opinion they are the best band out of the very few good ones from this genre

  • @metalthrasherdawson they are all the way metal now back back then no .....not on there first cd i love this cd if only all them metal kids that like them now would check out there first cd

  • Joy division and Thursday are 2 of my favorite bands, Old Thursday makes me jizz my pants

  • "We're falling apart together"

I love this song. I love the old Thursday.

  • Thursday are rad as especially on Waiting and Full Collapse

  • i love ian curtis. but i hate thursday. this song has made me gain a little respect for them because i can see they have been influenced by the most amazing person i have ever heard of, ian curtis

  • reminds me of texas is the reason.the last of post-emo before thursday changed and emo went pop...

  • Comment removed

  • what happen to Figure 8 part on this song

  • i'm probably the only one that thinks this...but from 2:55 on.....that is the best music i have ever heard. it just doesnt get any beter than that. everything is there....

  • I'm with u 100%.

  • It sure is awesome. Especially the very end.

  • this song takes me back to 6th grade

  • The lyrics "24 hours/heart and soul/love has torn us apart" are all references to Joy Division songs by those names.

  • so is Isolation

  • @karawhalen "This is the Way, step inside" too (Atrocity Exhibition)

  • @FischermannsFreund86 Good shout and I'm pretty sure he sings 'Isolation', which is also a Joy Divison song.

  • curtis+ thursday= WOW

  • Did you know that Ian Curtis is/was the singer from Joy Division which is actually tooken as an idea for a song by The Wombats and now gonna be covered in a show our band will play in Dec?

    =D

  • tooken?

  • oh crap. sorry. Ur ryt. "taken"
