  • such an epic laugh!! lol his insanity is what gives him the title of best villain, even when there is a chance he can die, he STILL laughs!! ahahhaha

  • Comment removed

  • What is name of that ending song?please

  • @ZabliYut3: It's "Phantasm and Joker Fight". The part that's in this video is the ending of the song which comes in at 4:40, (it's a 6 minute song).

  • so...much...destruction WHA-HAHAHAHAHAA!!

    lol just kidding :)

  • i love how joker laughs at his work and how much destruction and chaos it creates

  • Joker will never die as long as there Batman

  • Go read VX Super Force!

It is a great story and I hope I get Mark Hamill for this future movie. His Joker voice is amazing! The character I made for him might be another great role for him. Go and read please and tell me about the story.

  • I want Mark Hamill so bad for VX Super Force, a movie I want to make.

If he plays my main villain, Velenor, he will be amazing and tremendous.

  • This is simply the greatest batman movie ever made..everything about this series and espesscially in this movie was perfect and just so right..check out the tribute song I made to the series intro on my page and drop me a comment..

  • 1:00 - 1:15

    Best Part.

  • 1:03..Gotta fucking love Mark Hamill's joker laugh

  • Mark Hamill is the only Joker that I really like.

  • This is probably my favorite Batman movie. I liked this better then the Dark Knight. Joker's scene right here is just epic! And just pure Joker!

  • this my favorite part.

  • this movie was mad cool and the joker was mad funny in it

  • IS IT JUST ME??

Or does Batman's dialogue during :16 to :24 remind you of the bad English dub/voiceover work for "Barry" in the very FIRST "Resident Evil" game on the PlayStation??

  • His laugh is epic.

  • This Would Probably Be The Biggest Mind Fuck Ever

If You Haven't Seen The Movie.

  • no shit!

  • aaaaa mark, the animated series was like a baby sitter to me, best show fookin ever, bit pissed tho ive downloaded every season except 2 cant find one that works anywhere *sad face*

  • Also in the jlu episode that ended the whole batman animated series universe the 30 year old terry reveals that the joker used cadmus technology on tim drake. Which was also used to create him as the biological son of bruce wayne and a sort of clone of bruce wayne.

  • trust me I know this is the true timeline of all of the joker's appearances. Why else would bruce's girlfriend from the episode joker's wild be mad at him in mask of the phantasm? Also watch the episode joker's millions it really does take place several months after the batman superman movie.

  • 40 or 50 years later the events of return of the joker takes place and the joker is finally dead for good.

  • After that the events of beware the creeper takes place and after that the events of mad love takes place. In the next series justice league joker is defeated by batman and the rest of the justice league and then he returns in the justice league episode wild card. During the events of justice league unlimited he had gotten the pieces of cadmus technology and soon after justice league unlimited was over the flashback in return of the joker's death and the birth of joker jr. takes place.

  • After the joker survives the explosion at the end of mask of the phantasm he returns in the flashback shown in the episode that takes place after the events of subzero when robin quits. Soon when the 2nd robin has become batman's partner the events of holiday knights takes place. Soon after that the events of the batman superman movie takes place. After surviving at the end of tbsm he returns to gotham and the events of joker's millions takes place.

  • the events of the laughing fish place and after that the events of joker's wild take place. After the events of almost got im take place, then the events of harley and ivy, after that it's the events of harlequiade, after that it's the events of make em laugh, and finally the events of mask of the phantasm take place (a guy from riddler's reform shows up at the party so obviously it ends before the ending of the series and subzero.

  • This is the joker's animated series timeline.10 years before Bruce Wayne became Batman he was a member of Sal Valestra's gang and soon had a mob of his own and faced Batman. He jumped into the vat of chemicals and became the Joker. Soon his 1st scheme was kidnapping commisionar gordon, detective bullock, and summer gleeson and blow up trains and cause chaos. Soon he was defeated by batman and robin. Then the events of the last laugh take place, then the evenys of joker's favor take place.

  • Aww poor Joker, he lost a tooth! Lol

  • best joker laughing scene i've seen so far.

  • does this lead to the new batman animated adventures?

  • Seriously I think Nolan should consider making this into a live action movie.

  • I agree he should have and i wish they make Batman beyond and Return of the Joker and Batman vs Dracula and your right this is the best Joker Laugh ever.

  • what do you mean Batman beyond, Return of the joker, and batman vs dracula?

  • why is that confusing?

  • I'm confused because I didn't know qwhat you meant.

  • well haven't you seen batman beyond and Batman vs Dracula?

  • Yes I have.

  • good but i was talking to Scoonertuna.

  • no its not the end of the joker you can't kill him he's to big of a character and can cheat death.

  • Supposidly a deleted scene exists where it shows the Joker actually escaping the phantasm.

  • fact is we don't know what happened after the whole smoke dissappearing thing, he could have faked his death in a number of ways and tricked her.

  • In the Comic, released after the film, the sequence is extended Andrea reappears in the sewer under the explosion the Joker is still laughing. She pulls out a spar knife but thinks about what Bruce said and hesitates. Another explosion happens separating the two Andréa survives but doesn't see the joker and assumes he had perished in the inferno.

  • we'll we all know Joker ^^

  • Yea we know him he like sto go out witha BANG!. "justr to watch the world burn"

  • I find that this movie had the best Joker laugh collection my favorite one being the one he does right after asking Andrea 'HOW ABOUT A LITTLE PICK-ME-UP'

  • I can't remember if I saw this in theaters or not, but when this came on VHS i nearly wore that tape out.

    what a great movie.

  • Joker is the best villan ever no one can top a total psych like him

"Make you want to laugh doesn't it?"

    ahhahahhahahahahahaha!!!

  • Just when you think the Joker finally is going to take things seriously when the explosion occurs, he starts to laugh! Laugh!? The Joker uses his trademark insanity to its maximum length and beyond!!!!!!

  • Oh my god, I love the laughter. Joker is a total psycho. And I love it.

  • this is the greatest Batman movie ever. in my opinion. and Mark Hammil(not sure if thats how his name is spelt) is the greatest Joker ever because of his kickass laugh! I love that movie

  • Anyone know where the operatic music comes from or is called?

  • He appeared in "Return of the joker", "World's finest" and in "The new batman Adventures". Obviously he survived. Andrea did too, she had a cameo apperance in 'Justice League". Goddamn, that music during the explosion kicks ass.

  • Utterly agreed.

  • Dont forget his appearances in "Justice League".

  • yeah, that too.

  • most evil laugh.....ever!

  • I meant the Batman Beyond series, sorry for the confusion, it's been awhile since I've seen anything batman related last so I'm a little more than lost, lol..again, sorry

  • Wait wait wait, I'm confused...in the "new" series I guess (or rather the old ones) the joker is killed by Robin after he turns him into a little Joker...so...what exactly happened here? Is the Joker killed twice in the animated series???

  • In this movie, he survives. Later, during the events of Return of the Joker, he tries to have Robin/Joker Jr. shoot Batman. Robin shoots Joker instead, and Mr. J dies. But he had implanted his brainwave patterns/mind into a tiny little microchip on the back of Robin's neck.

  • He lays dormant in Tim Drake's mind, only appearing in his dreams. Then, finally, he begins to assume control. In the last battle with the new Batman, Terry McGinnis, the microchip is fried when Terry uses Joker's own joybuzzer on him. So yes, he does "die" twice in the series.

  • Wow, a lot happened, lol :) Thanks for clearing that up, I've been out of the batman loop for a very long time and I didn't know (as I'm sure you could tell) lol. Thank you again!

  • No problem!

  • did anyone see batman mask of the phantasm in theaters?

  • No, but I imagine it would have kicked major ass in the theaters...man, I miss this movie, lol

  • Indeed I did. I saw it when it was out, 14 years ago at Christmastime.

My eyes were completely glued to the screen, even if some of the story went over my head (I was 10 at the time)

  • My dad took me to see it when I was VERY little about 5 or 6. I was in awe the entire time.

  • Hamill's laugh is SOO Much better than Leager's laugh in the new teaser.

  • Frankly, I think Hamill should have been Joker. I believe that he was actually their first choice but he unfortunately refused for some reason. Maybe he felt he was too old.

  • He was not considered, he said if approached he would have done it...

  • riddler cooler than joker,no way.joker could eat riddler for breakfest

  • Did you know that this film marks the first time the Joker actually killed somebody? They could never do that in the show!

  • What is it about the Joker that fascinates everyone? Could it be his insanity? Or his sadistic idea's of killing?

  • it's his theatrics. he takes the time to rig the whole place to blow up for an awesome finale. he always does something over the top. riddler's just a nerd, two face listens to a coin, penguin's a thief, croc's an idiot... joker makes it a circus.

  • Or maybe, he's just the perfect villan of all time.

  • yeah, maybe, though that's not easy to prove.

  • Also agreed.

  • 1,000% agreed.

  • It's not just that. He rigs the place to explode, tries to escape, fails, and then when everything is going up and he's seconds away from death, what does he do?

    He laughs hysterically.

  • i wish i could c the deleted scene where the joker escapes her b/c when i was little and i saw this i used to wonder where the hell the joker went in the ending

  • what is the song that starts when Joker laughs when he sees the explosions @ 1:00

  • Riddler is much better than Joker. Joker is so classic and Riddler so original.

  • Are you serious? Riddler to Joker is like Venom to Green Goblin: An ripoff that may be cool, but not as cool as the original.

  • The Joker is, and always will be, Batmans Archenemy.

    He's such the perfect villian.

  • Mark Hammil Provided the best voice for the joker ever, especially that insane laughter of his.

  • Mark Hamill does the best joker laugh! This is my favorite part of the movie!

  • i love the way joker loses his marbles even more when everything starts blowing up... great movie.

  • Joker never dies, and neither does Batman

  • i love this film , i always have the eurge to start laughing when joker does lol

  • Wow. Mark Hamill's...more talented than I thought.

It would suck when he dies...

They should "digitally master" this movie.

  • Excellent movie I have it on DvD.

  • how is the dvd different from the vhs?? does it have more features/include the deleted scenes?? I have the vhs.

  • I believe there's a deleted scene in this movie that shows Joker escaping. And Nuclearknight77, you're thinking of the Batman Beyond movie; in the flashback of Joker's death, Tim Drake (who at the time had been driven mad by Joker) shoots Joker. In the edited version of that movie, Joker slips in a puddle and is electrocuted to death off-screen.

  • Am glad you brought that up because I knew "The Return Of The Joker" movie that I saw on youtube was different and I remember a different death scene of The Joker. I knew am not crazy. LOL!

  • i saw it batman live and joker

  • In Batman Beyond Return of the Joker it shows Tim Drake shoot and kill Joker. The Joker that comes back in Batman Beyond is actually Tim Drake with his DNA overwritten to that of the Joker.

  • he doesnt shoot and kill the joker, he accidently kills the joker by spilling fluid on him and when the joker tries to get up by holding on to a handle he gets electricuted.

  • In the uncensored one he shoots the Joker. In the edited version the Joker dies by accidental electrocution.

  • Exactly. I don't know what was in that vat Joker fell in, but if they put that out on the streets. Instead of crackheads... jokerheads?

  • THE JOKER WILL LIVE ON!!

  • I got this on dvd

  • nah, it shows how the joker died in the return of the joker, The joker gets eletricuted after hypnotising robin and enplanting his dna in him.

  • You probably saw the cut version. The uncensored one has him getting shot in the chest by Robin.

  • i just always wondered why they made Batman's chin like Jay Leno's all square and what not

  • lol... That's just how the animation was in Batman, Superman and Justic League. It's supposed to make them look more muscular.

  • can someone tell me why the joker and the batman look so battle ravaged?

  • watch the movie and find out lol....8^)

  • Yeah, they just got through beating the shit out of each other.

  • that's because the bat mobile lost a wheel and the joker got away

  • The Joker never dies, don't you know that?

  • i got this dvd from fye for $8:99 the best 9 bucks ive spent in a while this series beats any newcomer and yes im talking obout the batman now that comes on that show sucks so much i wached cartoon network in the 90s and up to when cartoon network went to hell in 2005 i still wach cartoon network sometimes im 16 still wach cartoons

  • i'm 27 and still watch cartoons. lol. i say the 90's had the best series of cartoons. i agree though...nothing beats the old stuff

  • Batman: Mask of The Phantasm was bullshit. from the title, i was expectin it to be about a real "reaper" supervillain wit powers an all. even 'bane' was a better creation than this. a freakin human bein wit no special moves? and 2 make it a damn woman? it was a fuckin disappointment.

  • it would be so stupid if there was super powers... batman is meant for ppl like you and me, can be great without any powers. Thats why there was no one with super powers and there will never be anyone with superpowers in gotham.

I'm talking about batmans neighborhood and people... not like superman or the justice league

  • that is, except for the riddler and bane. oh yeah and whats his name, raysh al ghoul. they seemed to have powers. look how smart riddler was, how raysh was immortal, how bane was superhuman strong.

  • shinddogg....um bane/riddler/raysh al ghoul doesnt have powers lol....bane uses "venome"(steroids) which give him superhuman strength....riddler is a genious, being smart isnt a power....and raysh al ghoul found ancient relics and scrolls to do those immortal rituals...kk

  • But at least it had the joker

  • Well 'shindogg' I liked that movie for a different reason. If you think that flick was dogpoop, it gets worser in the upcoming years, cause I 'LOATHED' JLU and I hated Superman:TAS even more. I wanted'JLU'to be inspired by Grant Morrison's JLA revamp, not a B:TAS continuation. And to think I was once a fan of Bruce Timm.

  • There is nothing out there that can be compared to the good old Batman TAS. They had nearly adult themes, but were still mild enough to be shown to kids.

  • i have the fucking vhs of this

  • so what

  • I 1st saw this when it came to theaters

    when I was 3 years old,I watched

the whole btas show too,and had tons of figures

I BLEED BLACK AND BLUE BECAUSE I`AM A BATMAN FAN

    4-EVER!!

  • The Joker came back after this; what happened when Andrea took him?

  • they probly boned eachother

  • Never revealed...but I like to think that when she was about to end him, she couldn't go through with it, and left him. She makes a return as an assassin who can't kill Terry's parents (which was kind of weird >.>)

  • Actually they made a scene where Joker escapes from her, but it was cutted.

  • kudos

  • Ahh the good old days of blood on cartoons and no BS about morals Back when kids new a cartoon from real life and/or the legal system trusted us to be self reliant on what we viewed

  • best comment ever

  • I love the old batman cartoons, they show blood...yes...blood.

  • As always the joker has to go laughing even in that pathetic state hes so awesome ^_^ one of the best batman villians

  • yeah kobra is right he really gets shot in the chest by robin

  • This movie is freakin' awesome...WB film productions should definitely consider something similar to how interesting and dark this anime came out!

  • It's not an anime, it was made in America.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not the joker

  • Its tied with mask of the...

  • ausome movie nothin will beat it

  • dude, that movie rocks

  • That was such an awesome movie.

  • ive seen how the joker dies he gets electricuted but it is still a good film

  • actually thats the alt way he died for lil kids....SPOILER WARNING SPOILER WARNING in the real version for batman beyond the movie he gets shot by robin in the chest

  • umm... no it isnt

  • NOOO that bitch is Mr. J he is mine.

  • it is not the end of Batman or the Joker

  • same here and i still got the movie maybe ill wach it tommarow

  • yeah brings back memories when i was a huge batman fan!

  • I remember seeing this as a kid. Best Batman movie plot ever.
