Writing a review for this game right now. It's not bad. It's not GREAT, but I wouldn't say "it sucks" either. The Wii pointer is actually used pretty thoughtfully to perform multiple functions with the shield in a way that actually has some merit. I could see fans of Captain America enjoying this game, it's just not gonna blow anyone out of the water like Arkham Asylum did.
Basically, if you like Captain America (I actually don't) it's worth playing. Better than most tie-in games, I'd say.

@thexmario I played through the entire game for review, I'm well aware of this game's merits and flaws. It's an intentionally dramatized art style and yes, the characters don't look realistic. That's the point. The Wii can't push HD graphics so they opted to stylize things more. It looks more a like a comic, which makes sense.
You haven't mentioned anything concerning how the game PLAYS, only the visuals. Which sounds like you're just making a gut reaction based on the art design.
I like the look of this better than on the other consoles, because its more comic book-ish. I wish they wouldve taken that idea farther tho, but whatever.
The Wii is just fine for platformers if using either a classic or GameCube controller. Although, more design work is needed if using the standard remote & nunchuck.
People do expect a certain standard of visuals from computer games, but the expectations are no longer as high as they used to be. Wii is great for sports games and interactive activities but...it's just not a serious gaming machine for shooters and platformers. There are aspects of every system I enjoy. I don't care about those crap-ass graphic, some game have great graphics and fail! As long as the game play is good everything else is okay with me, they could have crappy graphics because they spend so much memory on the gameplay. So far only Iron Man 1 for the Wii failed for me, 2 made up for it.

I don't care about those crap-ass graphic, some game have great graphics and fail! As long as the game play is good everything else is okay with me, they could have crappy graphics because they spend so much memory on the gameplay. So far only Iron Man 1 for the Wii failed for me, 2 made up for it.

I love how sad this new generation of gamers are. The MOMENT we see graphics less than what we're used to seeing, a game is "automatically a bad game". The moment we see something that isn't COD or Halo or an FPS or a military shooter or an RTS or for PC, the GAME and the SYSTEM automatically suck. We seem to praise games based on slightly innovative repetition rather than creativity and fun factor now.
