Last year I planted grape vines between poles like your blackberries. I thought I'd wait until they started growing to put wire between the poles. My husband decided to be helpful one day and cut the grass. He cut down every one of my grape vines, stayed clear of the poles though, lol. Back to the drawing board.
Extra blackberries for the birds and critters! :)
