correct. the flights to gensan, especially on regular a340 and a330 services, don't need the full passenger capacity. because of gensan's proximity from manila, its is imperative that perishable goods need to be exported in a quick way.

let's not forget the masses of tuna that this city exports.

Usually an airline won't fly it's wide-bodied jets on routes which are unprofitable... with the MNLGES route, PAL have been flying it's big jets for almost 13 years now, I believe the market is there for that route. Remember, it's not only about the passenger load that matters but also the cargo

e kasi yung airport din namin sa gensan "international" nga, pero walang pa-gasolinahan, kaya malaking eroplano ginagamit nila, lalo na 'pag non-stop, puno talaga yung tanke para makabalik agad sa manila...

plus dahil once a day lang nga ang flight sa gensan, e di maraming pasahero din ang sasakay sa eroplano..

Hey there men please wag mo maliitin ang airport here in Gensan because is the 3rd longest runway here in phils. so its ok to use A340 even though it is domestic.. They use A340 beacause they are so many tuna or other cargo to be exported from manila...

Philippine Airlines is known for the first Asian airliner to have a full family of Next Generation Airbus aircrafts, also in their arrivals of their new A320 Family. PAL is recently removing their first class remaining business class and expanding the economy class(in some aircrafts e.g A320)

I always love it when the plane starts to taxi and then the engines starts to rumble followed by the plane gaining speed. :) I can't wait for PAL's B777 to arrive. I hope masakyan ko yung B747 nila.

ussually it uses an Rolls Royce Trent engines don;t know for the 300 series but for A346 (600 series) it uses 556 or 55,600 of max weight i mean power
