  • from 2008-2011 in My state that is where there noirmally aint likely 2 have tornados but not impossible we've had many tornados/ waterspouts every summa where on tornado watch 2day till 7:45 last week til 8:00

  • The tornado sirens there don't seem as creepy as some that I've heard before, still a scary situation though.

  • i remeber this day we had tons of rain

  • so was there an actual tornado?? i wanna move there but absolutely HATE tornadoes! :((

  • @PhiaPhia97 theres not many tornados in mckinney alot of storms though.

  • wow ive never seen it like that before and ive lived thier most of my life! in the fairways and kings garden

  • my cousins house is right there its on the left where she keeps showing

  • yeah one day in my place we could hear them because the winrd broke6 and there were only 7 the wind was really strong

  • Hey! I remember that! That day our fence fell down!

  • i lived right down the street

  • Ah the good old tornado sirens in Frisco. I used to live on Lebanon Rd and there was one right outside my door. They set it off one morning at 1:00am because of straight line winds.

  • dude the sirens scare the hell out of me man on june i was eating dinner at grandmas and i flung my fork across my room i was freaked

  • that type of siren would wake the freakin dead let alone anyone up from a deep sleep! The ones we have here are weak twisted ambulance sounds...i miss the old thunderbolts. Wish they would bring them back..or these things on the vid. creeps me out but at least you can hear them.

  • My uncle works for US Steal in Dallas and lives in frisco great town

  • omg i live close to Mckinney. That was so scary

  • i remember iwas in frisco gamestop and the funnel was RIGHT ABOVE US! good thing it stopped

  • Frisco is the greatest town ever.

  • I live in Mckinney!!!!!!!!

  • I live on Rolater and Preston road. Storms fly through Frisco fast!!!

  • in response to load in ur pants i was really pissed when the sirens went off and on the tv the storm had already passed

  • im planning to move to frisco... is it dangerous? since it is on the tornado alley?

  • i used to live in stonebridge ranch and these things used to scare the crap out of me especially when the voice comes on!

  • hey i live in frisco foot hill ln tx

  • yep i totally got scared last night when:)

  • hahaha. that was stupid right when they went off they said on the tv that it was over!

  • is this near the Estates?

  • It is in Eagles Nest, not far from the Estates.

  • ATI ATI ATI

  • yeah, all I've seen in that area is whelens...they fail =(

  • Whelen is the ONLY reliable siren on the market!

  • Definatley Whelen's I was in Frisco late this summer and saw like one wheelen for every block

  • mainly Whelen 3016s if im not mistaken

  • and plano sirens did not fire off?

  • I am not sure this was the same storm/point in time when the Plano sirens did not go off. If I remember correctly, the Plano sirens failed to activate (because of human inaction) during an overnight storm, not during the day, when this video was taken.

  • -i just left mckinney this morning...visiting-

  • is this in westridge?

  • Yes, it is in Westridge

  • thats grayhawk

  • what the hell are u talking about. it sound like the wind. what do i know. I live in nj

  • its the damn sirens, not the WHELEN or shit like that.

  • Very nice video of the rain, thunder, and tornado warning sirens... love the sights and sounds.... nice fadings from one segment to another. BTW...this very date in 1974, 4/3..the biggest tornado outbreak EVER... 148 tornadoes in only 16 hours!! Too bad camcorders and YouTube didn't exist back then..being 34 years ago. I do remember the outbreak...but alas..I missed the audiotaping of the Tstorms the following morning.. meanwhile KUTEW..on the videoings here...

  • Frisco actually has a system with a combination of Whelen 4004s and ATI HPSS32s. I believe the siren primarily heard is an ATI.

  • That siren I believe is a whelen because of the winddown

  • Yeah the wind down does sound similar to a Whelen but the actual wail signal sounds the same as the ATIs from a news video I found about Friscos new system.

  • whelen whelen whelen
