Thank you posting...Did I Remember...this is one of those songs in the recesses of my memory. I used to hear once and a while as a kid in the late 50's/early 60's...nice to hear it sung by Jane Froman in an arrangement typical of when the song was written. Milton Cross's distinctive voice is familiar (up to the mid-70's) - Saturday afternoon Texaco Met Opera broadcasts.
Gosh I actually made this graphic that has been used so much on U Tube ..... it is so strange seeing one's own work. I was just looking around and viewing her songs again.
This is a monumentally ironic introduction, considering all the hell that was still ahead of Jane Froman at this point. That aside, THAT VOICE is just incredible, and a thousand thanks for posting, Tauberfanlehar2.
Reflecting upon Jane Froman's choices of music to interpret for us, her glorious voice, her courage and generosity throughout her life, I feel deep appreciation and gratitude for contributions such as this that may convey memory of her to future generations.

Thank you for posting Miss Jane Froman. I didn't think anyone out here remembered her.

"THE MAGIC KEY OF RCA" was an hour-long Sunday afternoon series, co-hosted by Milton Cross and Ben Grauer.
