  • THE CLASSIC 747 RULES, 100/200 & SP

  • they made the passengers rush out of the planet but Chartlton Heston and Karen Black both get to stroll out at a lesurely pace!

  • So, soon the world will see the very latest 747 technology - the 747-8 scheduled to deliver to CargoLux as a freighter variant mid-2011 and to Lufthansa in 4th-quarter 2011 as a passenger variant. The airplane is unbelieveable. The interior is incredible!

This movie is the best of the best only beat by the original Airport released in 1970 hallmarking the 707 (which is still in service today being introduced in 1959 to Pan American). What a testament to the Boeing product!

  • This actual 747 was flown by American Airlines then later according to records the aircraft N9675 which happens to be this aircraft in the film was flown by UPS. According to records this aircraft is still in the UPS fleet . The small twin engine aircraft used in the midair collision scene was actually destroyed in a real midair collision some years ago.

  • HOLLYWOOD IN THE 70S WAS THE BEST...

  • I LOVE THE F-14 & CLASSIC 747

  • Ahhhh, Cacavas. I just love his work for Airport 1975 and Airport '77...

  • @ScreamingScallop Actually this is a VERY good score. All the way through!! It is VERY dramatic. I would almost say this sounds like John Williams. I actually spoke to John Cacavas about this score and he was very pleased to hear of my enjoyment of it. He is a very down to earth guy. I love the opening with the iconic image of the 747 cruising in to frame, If you are an aviation buff this film is a dream. I have always enjoyed this film. A guilty pleasure for sure. Arrest me!!

  • i also love the Classic 747 (100/200 & SP) It's my favorite movie too

  • Nice memories :)

  • Check out my channel, I just uploaded this movie.
