if you've watched cloverfield the camera is shaking because it is filmed in a FPS perspective, so to make it feel like the movie he shakes the camera to get the feeling this is really happening.

@MartinTyrrell that's the whole point behind the Cloverfield handheld camera is that it looks amateurish, but actually the result is gripping, cool you figured out that binocs and hud off would result in this effect. Amazing that we were all able to play that game in real time.

This is a level in Single Player in the first Crysis game. When I got to to this level I was like "omg cloverfield lolz" I'm guessing he used a program like fraps, cropped the video with Vegas, added some static lines, and just stick with running around in-game.

I have to say. EXCELLENT work with the camera shake! its like a combination of no crosshair or the game binoculars without the hud or the video was cropped on the center

the best effect must definitely be the work done when you move and as if you were holding a real camera, you point the view down to the floor and nod the view from side to side as if you were really walking!!

if only there could be a way to disable the binoculars contour, highlighting other characters and enemies
