The Sheik was also Chief Billy White Wolf, WWWF Tag Champ with Jay Strongbow. He suffered a "broken neck" and then came back as a Sheik. Which is more true because he was Iranian.
Indeed... i recall him as General Adnan being with Sgt Slaughter in WWF in 1990-1991... as Adnan finger-scratched Lane's back, the commentator made references to Mad Dog Vachon (who had been AWA's one of the biggest heel stars) ...

@deuceoo Actually he's an Iraqi.

@deuceoo Think about that team and how they sold them as 2 American Indians. Wolf is Iraqi and Strongbow is Italian.

This is not the original Sheik. It's Adnan Al-Kaissie who later went to the WWF to manage Iron Sheik and Sgt. Slaughter.

What shocks me is the size of the Sheik's arms here. They have to be over 20".

Oh, it was Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie, not the Original Sheik Ed Farhat. There is a serious difference.
