5. Barlog will laugh so hard he will loose all interest in you, will get drunk like a dwaf and crazy like Golum.

My own explanation would be that Gandalf's power, in his human form, is much diminished in comparison to his spirit form. In contrast, the Witch-King had his powers of mind greatly increased through wearing the ring, and he might receive his power directly from Sauron. That'd make Gandalf and WK just about equals perhaps.

Balrogs are Maiar's aswell (they were the spirit's of fire). They were the servant's of Melkor (later Morgoth) and he corrupted them just like he corrupted Sauron (Maiar aswell).

You mean the planet Arda (Middile Earth is just a continent about the size of Europe), and no it wasn't the Istari, it was Eru, the One (God). The Valar (sort-of Demi Gods) helped shape it. The Maiar are lesser Gods and are servant or helpers of the Valar.
