  • This song brings back 1960 and all the good times and good friends...It doesn't get any better than that....Thanks for the song....

  • so great!

  • Great!

  • My Dad, Sid Jacobson, wrote the words to this song. As kid, I thought it was pretty hilarious, but I didn't appreciate ever appreciate how musically funky it is. It swings! Charles Koppelman (the lead) grew up to be a top music guy, headed emi and is now Martha Stewart's business partner.

  • The clip is from the last live episode of the Dick Clark Show. Other guests included Chubby Checker, Billy Bland, Ray Peterson and Conway Twitty. By the way does anybody have or know where you can find Dick Clark show clips.

  • @superdoowopkid YouTube!

  • The group that made possible the Beatles

  • They should make kids today listen to this constantly until they become normal.

  • .

This song was a great putdown (rankout) of yoga.

Just great Doo Wop Rock and Roll,

  • I knew a guy named Don in Brighton Beach who said he was in the group.

  • YEAH!! This was not only one of the best singles of 1960, but of the entire twentieth century, as well. Pure genius. And the fact that a live video clip has survived is nothing short of answered prayer!

  • @MikeBlitzMag What TV show was this clip from? "Ed Sullivan", "American Bandstand", or some other show?

  • i'ma yogi baby haahah, hell yea!!
