The Ventura is the most amazing thing you will ever experience, and I've had a lot: I've sang at the 02 arena and royal Albert hall, I've been to landzarote and that is the best out of the lot. Ps the bread rolls are fantastic you will never find anything like then literally i mean it!!!

As per my post below, we have just came back 15/01 had a fab time, re. the nursing home by jugin22 you are not wrong, a couple got thrown of the ship due to a fight in the laundry room the ladies were fighting over who was next to use the washer then the husband had a punch up, another bloke left his sun bed for about 2hrs another chap got on it, 1st bloke came back had a argument said if I can't have it nor can you and throw the bed overboard, they were kicked of at the next port.

Thanks for this Leevoy, we're looking forward to the West Med cruise on 10 April 2010 and traveling up from New Zealand. The Aussie P&O vessels operating in the Pacific routes don't come close to Ventura.

hi leevoy i think your comment about the cabin balcnys at 4.35 is stuid all the cabins on board can be made larger by taking out the conecting wall andplus there is a door there for the staff to use and for family cabins thank you

Also the shows are half decent, especially the guy who plays lead role in Saturday Night Fever.

On this Maiden Voyage they had Sebastian Coe and Michael Portillo guest speaking and a night of comedy from Jimmy Carr off the TV.

They have Husband and Wife from Britain Got Talent who got to the Semi-Final of the TV show.

White Room is great and an awesome dining experiance from Marco Pierre White. Havana is the nightclub but it is usually dead to be honest in there.

I have just come off the Maiden Voyage, really awesome ship.

Open plan which is a good idea for disabled people, but maybe not so if you require a queit room to chat with a drink or two.

Libary is a little bit limited.

Internet connection is SLOW ! seriously and they charge about £21 for about 100 minutes.

Food is awesome as you would expect on P&O.

It seemed to me geared very much for the family and the new generation of cruisers.

Rooms accross the board are great and very well laid out.

Elements of her interior look really nice..thank goodness P&O's American parent Carnival apparently kept their ghastly and over used ideas away from this ship.

Still, typical Carnival the Ventura is a Princess Cruises hull design, hardly new or innovative.

actually, with the fact that the childrens facilities are so good (ps3's air hockey, computers), you probably won't see any!! plus there are 3 pools, one for the kids, and it's quite a small pool aswell. so you have the option of the other two
