  • gud dear. I just performed for the same keerthana but in mohiniyattom..... awsome song....

  • Meera, pancharetna krithi is very particular in its bhava and its devotional aspect. I dont think u are performing according to its bhava and devotional aspect. Sorry to say please e be serious before taking such kritghis,

  • Also like some others have pointed out the sthayi bhava of the krithi should be kept in mind ..considering the spiritual meaning maybe a more controlled abhinaya would have been perfect. Having said that you have quite captivating expressions..just make sure you tailor it according to the meaning and feel of the krithi..hope to see more videos from you

  • @Aquamarine31 SORRY FOR THE DELAY. Have noted your suggestions.thank u, will keep it in mind n try to do better next time. pls do comment on all my videos. in which field r u a doc?/med??

  • @meeraguruvayur

    hi meera I'm an anesthesiologist.

  • meera..i have been watching ur videos and you are a pleasure to watch. Never stop dancing. I wanted to be a dancer but became a doctor instead ! But I still dance :) I always thought that " Entharo " is so replete with bhava that it would be a pleasure to dance to it. This is the first time I have come across a choreography of it. What style of bharathanatyam do you do? It looks different from the kalakshetra style.

  • delightful...

  • Dancer of your caliber can very well make the hearts of the audience melt with right abhinaya for this composition...is all I want to say. Sometimes the maturity in abhinaya also comes more naturally as you grow older.

Looking forward to more videos from you.

  • Meera, u are a beautiful & what I call an evolved dancer.

Food 4 thought... for this composition in particular, I agree with gkuchipudi. The words in this keertana are filled with ardhrata. Poet experiences complete surrender, rapture & is humbled by the greatness of devotees that came before him n experienced the same. The movement and expression at 1:04 are a little trivial for the bhavam of the composition.

God bless you ! You are a darn good dancer.

  • Thank you, have taken your suggestion will try to rectify for my next performance. do keep sending comments of all my performance..it will really help me in future... and also pray for me..

  • what are u trying to do for brahmanandamanubhavinchi at 0.22 and 0.56?

  • hi Meera,

Nice to see your dance. Your postions were perfect and you have also corrected the dola hastha which i mentioned last time.

I am not worthy t comment on any guru but i felt the movement at 1.04 is not that appealing. Also, you are too small too understand the bhakti bhavam in the composition. all pancharatna keerthanas are pure sacred feelings of Tyagaraja swami towards Rama.

  • thank you very much for the suggestions and comments. will try to rectify in my next performance. do watch all the videos and write down your comments.

    meera

  • Hi Meera,

Nice to see your dance after a long time. I remember mentioning about the dola hastha correction and you did seem to implement it. Good.

Even in this video, i have small suggestion, i am not worthy to comment on the choregraphy of any Guru, but i felt, the "endaro mahanubhavulu" , ( step where you have anjali hasta and jumping w/o movement) at 1.04 min , is not that appealing.

Your positions are perfect and may be you are too small to understand the complexity of the lyrics.

  • thank you very much for the suggestions and comments. will try to rectify in my next performance. do watch all the videos and write down your comments.

    meera

  • So Beautyful !

  • the stahyi is gettin lost .. your smile is overpowering..

  • Watched all videos in the Pancharatna series. Exquisite performance. Very controlled and soulful rendition, extremely musical and unhurried - qualities that have become rare in a day and age where artists think that fast nritta and striking poses are more important than bringing out the true essence of the music. The energy and execution is simply superb. Kudos to your guru for having bought out the best in you.

  • Beautiful dear Meerakutty
