I have it in the darker finish. This thing is awesome. I play in an 80's cover and this thing kills it for the ballads. Think about Every Rose or Bon Jovi stuff. Love the size and feel. I switch back and forth with my Strat and this and doesnt kill my fingers going back and forth. Love the built in reverse phase... that is the key.. no feedback. Dig it.

@cathwon really a year..... I walked in to my SMALL town music store to pick up a case for my daughters guitar and with no real thought of even bying myself one cause i had just picked up a 12 string and a les paul( house fire took all my gear and funds were running low) but there it was so I would say it took me 3 minutes and trust me the ew20 sounds better....unless you are really small and have a hard time reaching I wouldn't buy a 30 my girl is 12 and she plays it comfortably so........

The thing about thinbody guitars is that they might not be reduced in tone, but if you compare a thinbody guitar with its equivalent that is regular-sized, the thinbody's volume is much less. If you buy this guitar, make sure you have it with the pickup so that you can get the desired amount of volume.

the body is thinner.

unplugged, it gives a thinner sound like all thin body guitars. Plugged in, the electronics take over to project a nice warm tone.

If you plan to play unplugged often, the EW20ASENT might be a better choice with its louder acoustic voice.

I tried both at my local guitar shop and I actually like the EWC30 a bit more.

The tone unplugged snags me more than the one of the EW20 does.

The EWC30 I an Amazing video! The sound is great, It has a lovely rich sound! The neck is thin so it plays much easier than other acoustic guitars!

Totally agree! The Big bodies have a deeper tone to them. I looked at the EWC30 natural finish and it was amazing I couldn't let go of the Guitar! The sound was so fine and high, although not as deep. I love this thing! If I were to get a Acoustic it would be this none Laminated body in Cobra wood, the one in the video!
