  • I am reading Tony's new book, "Iron Man". A very good read. I remember being like 10 years old and hearing them in my older brothers 8 track player. The music has stood the test of time.great music.

  • Great song. I remember it from long ago. Although i don't see what Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin have to do with the Lord of the ring.

  • @lamassu5 Lep had a song about lothr!

  • hey, these guys may have been born in mordor, but zeppelin were born in lothlorien!

  • This is amazing i love it

  • Man that is some fucking drumming.

  • what scale is the harp??

  • justin bieber jokes aren't funny idc how true they are

  • Looking forward to the day when I won't have to see the name of that pop singer kid in the top comment of almost every FUCKING rock/metal/classical video I see on Youtube. May that day come soon.

  • @Herreken I would have happily taken it down if you had asked but, Since you were such a crying little bitch about it I`m going to leave it just to piss you off. pfft :)

  • la primera cancion al mago Gandalf

  • kid cudi

  • I remember the critics shit talking Sabbath to death back in the day, pushing Zep instead, telling us how wonderful they were ....fast forward to today....who's still relevant and in the news? Which guitarist is always being praised and collaborated with? What bass player do they talk about? Who's the most underrated drummer? Hell teenagers prefer who? BLACK SABBATH THAT'S WHO! Teens don't even know who Robert Plant is or care,,,,SABBATH IS FOREVER

  • @CreeMetis You nailed it. Sabbath came out in 1970 and sounds just as good now as then and Led Zep sounds dated. This is the true music of the people and will be around for ever with new people playing off of Tony Iommi's riffs.

  • I honestly don't think bill ward got enough recognition for his playing. Only up until the past 25 years or so did sabbath finally get some respect in comparison to led zeppelin which came out like i said right bout the same time.

  • Just to set the record straight led zeppelin was formed in 1968 and sabbath in 69. So led zeppelin didn't pave the way for sabbath for shit. While they was playing communication breakdown black sabbath was playing songs off this very album. Which was way ahead of zeppelin far as rock/blues progressing into metal. And led zeppelin was way more mainstream than sabbath. So like i said before John Bonham got alot more noticed than say Bill Ward from sabbath specially after him dying. BUT

  • @Voltron1774 ah both are gods in my opinion

  • sabbath rules motherfuckers!!

  • Apparently Ozzy plays the harmonica in this song. I found out, was like 'WTF?', lol. Never knew Ozzy could play harmonica. Wasn't in his book.

  • This song still kicks asses !

  • Country music for the goths.

  • Led Zeppelin are the most musically overrated band of all time, in my opinion.

  • @jgg87 *coughs* The Beatles * coughs*

  • @ilovesasukeandleto

The Beatles wasn't ever inspired by Sabbath, but Sabbath by the Beatles. I don't think that the Beatles were overrated, only I think, Sabbath and Led Zepp are underrated.

  • @Beatlescanner How is LZ UNDERRATED!?!?! I'll tell whos underratted, HUMBLE PIE

  • @zachisaniceperson

I only think, LZ don't get enough respect from some people. Often someone says: "The Beatles formed today's Rock." It's right, but Led Zeppelin inspired a million of Bands too. But nobody says it.

  • @Beatlescanner thats cause its true.if you wanna see influential bands check out the stooges velvet underground the rolling stones. zeppelin were a bunch of posers that pillaged the blue scene and just got lucky. a bunch of sell out faggots the lot of em.

  • @Afereth You are talking complete shit, the whole lot of them were fucking geniuses. Plants lyrics are some of the deepest most artistic lyrics ever written, jimmy has been recognised as one of, if not the best rock guitarist of all time. I usually didnt pay attention to drums but when i heard bonzos, they blew my fucking mind as they did millions of other peoples. Im not saying Zepp paved the way for sabbath, theyre both amazing fucking bands who brought new technique and talent into the music

  • @Afereth world. As someone said, bill ward didnt get enough recognition as he should have neither did the rest of the band, it was only because of ozzies batshit crazy lifestyle he got so famous. Theyre both probably the two greatest bands ever to have existed, and are both amazing in their own way. Stop being such a closed minded bitch.

  • @Beatlescanner wot? Led Zeppelin gets TONS of credit for being influential.

  • This doesn't sound at all like Kid Cudi. I hope he doesn't change his sound too much on his next album. I still like his Hip Hop sound.

  • WZRD

  • Kid Cudi. WZRD

  • CuDi sent me here. WZRD

  • ... I came here from a pony fic.

  • Black Sabbath was born in Mordor.

    Wasn`t Led Zeppelin from Disneyland?

  • @dpoole999 ¬¬

  • Get well Tony! \m/ \m/

  • A carload of us parked at an old graveyard one night to smoke some hash in 1970 and someone stuck this very Black Sabbath 8 Track in for a laugh. About an hour later we were all freaking so bad we couldn't get out of there fast enough.

  • Saw this show ozzy still has it

  • Justin Beiber and Ozzy Osborne die and walk in to Hell together, The Devil asks Justin Beiber "What did you do in your life to bring you here?

Justin Beiber: I made shitty music I was hated by most people I got rich off my horrible teeny bopper music.

The Devil: Okay come on in and he bursts in to flames.

Justin Beiber: Screams and drops in to the ground in a pile of ashes.

The Devil: Looks at Ozzy and says what did you do in your life to bring you here?

Ozzy: Get the Fuck off my throne.

  • @GhostsInMyAttic DAM STRAIGHT.....GET THE FUCK OFF...GREAT JOKE

  • @GhostsInMyAttic SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • @TimBirkenholz Apparently you don`t like my opinion or my jokes, I have no problem with that at all sooo I guess you can go back to listening to Justin Bieber now bitch...lol

  • @GhostsInMyAttic Again shut the fuck up

  • @GhostsInMyAttic Again shut the fuck up

  • @GhostsInMyAttic Again shut the fuck up

  • @GhostsInMyAttic Again shut the hell up

  • @TimBirkenholz I will say what I want, When I want fat boy and there is not a single thing you can do about it...lol

  • @GhostsInMyAttic Fucking blasphemy dude

  • I presume that 53 orcs didn't like this.

  • @ColtClockwork Black Sabbath learned nothing from Led Zeppelin, and are in no way inferior. And I say this as an über Zep fan.

  • @juresaiyan Everybody who knows whats good learns somthing from Led Zeppelin. besides thats not what i said, i just meant that Zepp entered mordor before them.

  • @ColtClockwork Black Sabbath was born in Mordor.

    Wasn`t Led Zeppelin from Disneyland?

  • @dpoole999 how old are you?

  • @ColtClockwork Dude! Led Zeppelin couldn't play live... Led Zeppelin couldn't even go in through the out door. Grand Funk blew them off the stage. Apples and Oranges man...

  • @Mebelization Your talking shit, Zepp were and always will be the best.

  • @ColtClockwork At least Black Sabbath created their own original music, instead of stealing others material and covering it well...

  • @dragonforceforceforc Who gives a shit? like no other band has ever done that, they took blues music and songs that most people had never heard before and played it, and like you said played it well. And their own songs were all greats, Stairway to heaven, kashmir, ten years gone.

  • @ColtClockwork naw fuck you dont ever compare or say led zeppelin is better than black sabbath you pathetic peice of shit, Led zep is good and all but are SHIT compared to the true gods of rock n roll Black Sabbath and guess what mother fucker when they release a new album and make you eat their shit we'll see who allows who to enter, i'll defintely allow you to eat my ball sack.

  • @bluestormx4 Dry your tears bitch. thats my oppinion. Black sabbath are one of my favourites you retard, and i wouldnt eat your non existant ballsack even if you allowed me to, dickhead. I'm going to see sabbath live this year so eat MY shit dickwad. It only seems to be Ozzy that got an enormous amount of fame from sabbath and maybe tony, but all of Zepp were revered.

  • @bluestormx4 Sabbath are about as relevant today as a turd my grandmother did in 1971

  • @Nicklas4500

This deserves to be the top comment, i laughed so fucking hard when i read this!

  • @Nicklas4500 u must be a sissy,lol

  • @ColtClockwork they probably stole the keys i heard the zep were pretty good thieves in their time.

  • 53 people don't understand what it is to be awesome.

  • Haven't stopped listening to this for two months

  • @ilovesasukeandleto havent stopped listening to this for 30 years.

  • @patooey2 ahh touche

your generation was the best generation for music. i hate hearing 'things' like justin bieber and look towards metal for solace. but todays metal is just shit...

  • @ilovesasukeandleto idk where the fuck youve been looking for metal but youre absolutely wrong.

  • @thychaos they are satanic

  • @FILIPOVSKI1959 They are not satanic...listen to the lyrics.

  • @FILIPOVSKI1959 i think youre replying to the wrong person, buddy.

  • @thychaos no. im pretty right. im not saying there aren't good metal bands like lamb of god and motorhead, but i still think that old metal is better than new metal

  • @ilovesasukeandleto i think its only gotten better. the bands are getting more and more diverse and there are a shit ton of different and unique sounds.

  • The drumming in this one is amazing for its time i don't think bill ward got enough credit like he should have. Screw john bonham listen to this! lol

  • @Voltron1774 bill was good no doubt... but go bad mouthing the king.

  • Comment removed

  • @Voltron1774 best guitarist toni iommi

  • this one of my faves heh

  • I just wish to live long enough to see them live !!! then I'll be ready to die anyday, anytime!!!

  • @nicoechoes I've seen Black Sabbath three times live. Trust me, it's amazing. Good luck man, really hope you do.

  • @94Cioppa Ozzy Osbourne :3

  • Who plays the harmonica on this one?

  • @94Cioppa Ozzy Osbourne

  • needs more cowbell,,Ive heard this song a hundred times, on car stereos, setting here now, listening to it threw my B&O home system, its pretty a pretty sweet song

  • worst harmonica on record....makes bob dylan sound like little walter....good thing it's a cool song

  • @divanola

Huh? I think it goes perfectly with the dirty sound of the song.

  • Comment removed

  • @divanola Listen to Neil Young`s singing on Live Rust its horrible but, so awesome that`s what I love hard rough and raw it`s simply rock and roll in it`s most basic form.

    Cheers =]

  • @GhostsInMyAttic LOL.....Neil Young/no me gusta, but yeah kind of the point i was making/doesn't have to be technically good to rock/but i still laugh when i listen to the harmonica at 3:07 cuz it sucks and is mercifully short/ Wizard is a great blues based rocker. At the same time i can't stand Vai/Satriani/Malmstein and those guys play the shit out of the guitar.... i prefer Iommi's riffs.Sabbath/Zepp/Who/Jimi evrything else is second tier.

  • @divanola I actually agree with you but, For some reason I really dig the rough and raw sound to me it`s rock and roll in a very basic form, It`s hard to explain.

Have you ever listened to Bob Dylan?

Iommi is amazing to me but, So is Jimmy Page/Brian May and many others It is tough when you get into talking about guitar Masters.

Good comment it really got me thinking.

    Cheers =]

  • More Cowbell

  • Everyone needs a Wizard in their life.

  • den to pisteuw oti o antras mou thelei na kanei entrance stin dexiosh tou gamou mas me auto to kommati......!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WZRD

  • I've seen Ozzy play harmonica live. Was cool.

  • this is one of two channels i get my black sabbath from, the other just got terminated for copyright infringement, i hope that doesn't happen to this channel any time soon

  • I'm so damn glad I was a teen in the '70s.

  • Last month my son mastered Neil Young's Heart of Gold. He has this thing with a harmonica lately. Last night, he and his two buddies (who have been causing me to get great stares from the neighbors as the rattle my garage nightly), took this song on. My kid played the bass, harmonica, and did the vocals. Admittedly, they were just OK... but that's not the thing. The thing is that 14 year olds are playing this song! They'll be playing this in the HS battle of the bands in February. Kick Ass

  • For some reason... I picture some epic battle between Dumbledore and Gandalf when I hear this song.... O.o

  • imagine if they smashed Sabbath with ACDC ?

  • @Dutchy1965 It would just be Sabbath with more "ballsy" lyrics and more energetic guitar solos with some kind Scottzzio monster on vocals

  • @Dutchy1965 acdc opened up for sabbath one time. didn't went down well. geezer and malcolm had a big fight

  • @LeKerstman probably too similair for each other`s liking. interesting.

  • how much more awesome would sabbath have been with organ?

  • Jest Black Sabbath jest impreza!

  • @CeglaStereo masz barcie racje pozdro..

  • In Ozzy's book he said they recorded the ENTIRE first album in 12 hours. They hauled their equipment into the recording studio, plugged in, and changed the face of rock music in one kick-ass session.

  • kinda like that adele is in the related videos...

  • @LedZabbath999 she SUCKS....

  • Black Sabbath CAN believe its not butter

  • We aint goin out like that, We aint goin out like that!

  • This 52 people are a wizards

  • The lyrics are very hippie, cool.

  • Gloomiest sleeve picture ever, IMO.

  • @Caladobo With a name like Black Sabbath did you expect it to be bright and cheery?

    Brilliant song!

  • awesome, its been awhile

  • Not to be repetitive but, nevertheless: Black Sabbath simply walked into Mordor.

  • @juresaiyan so did zeppelin "T'was in the darkest depths of Mordor, I met a girl so fair." <---- proof they simply walked into mordor LOL

  • @juresaiyan Black sabbathsimply passed through Moria, killed the Keeper walkes through mordor provoked Sauron fought with him and his wraiths claimed and took his throne and after that THEY SIMPLY BROUGHT ETERNAL METAL DARKNESS TO THE UNIVERSE!

  • @SOLOTHORN You need to get out more =]

  • @juresaiyan and opening a fan-store

  • 本とにすごいこりや!Geezerはベッスの神様だ!

  • Haha! Cudi? Who the f***?

  • Who the fuck even brought up Cudi? lol The two things have absolutely nothing to do with eachother. Black sabbath is legendary. Cudi is just a phase.

  • @starnostarstephanie a phase wtf is wrong wiht you e and beyond he is better then any artist eveyr his music pass the test of time

  • @starnostarstephanie How can you know that? Sabbath's been around longer than Cudi, no way to tell yet, is there?

  • @LosTSouL99NL Obviously i was talking about so far. I'm not comparing them to future artists that I haven't even heard yet!???? wow way to find a way to one up me jerk.

  • @starnostarstephanie If you were talking about so far, then why call Cudi a "phase"? That's all I was asking. I didn't mean to offend you in any way.

  • Cudi is a talented musician who named his band "WZRD" in inspiration of this song. Why get mad at comments if you came to listen to songs anyway tho?

  • song still scares me lol i love it

  • who's blowing that harp????????

  • @wingman572 pretty sure it's Ozzy

  • @wingman572 Ozzy

  • who the fucking hell is Cudi ¬¬'

  • cudi is king!!!

  • That girl with the crucifix is so pretty. I want her to be my new BFF.

  • Black fkn Sabbath man....

  • FUCK CUDI!!! by the way, who's Cudi?

  • Therapists want my 13 year old body. Thumbs UP if you get it ;)

  • what the fuck is a cudi?

  • is it me or does ozzy sound different in this? to me its like he sounds older than paranoid, etc. but this is younger

  • At the end of the day there are alot of people who have never been exposed to Black Sabbath... Might not.ever... But b/c Cudi posted it we all clicked and decided to listen... More exposure for music we never might have listened to if it wasnt for Cudi! Ps loving the track!

  • BLACK SABBATH IS WHAT MUSIC IS NAMED AFTER. (yes, i was yelling.)

  • i don't even know who cudi is, but i agree with the dude that said he can suck a big fat one!!!

  • @alkimst13 Why, because he is a huge Black Sabbath's fan ?

  • haha... get of that rage tip... Cudi's a cold artist. WZRD is a dope concept inspired by Black Sabbath.

  • fuck all scott's haters.

  • Like if "The Wizard" brought you here and not some random sellout hack! \m/ Black Sabbath forever! (and RIP to Dime who loved them, too)

  • Can someone inform me who Cudi or what did cudi do which involves the wizard? :D THANKS

  • @Hanuki Kid Cudi will make a rock album soon, called WZRD. So he posted that video on twitter to explain why he choose the name WZRD. And one of the only "pop" artist who listen to Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd (etc... ) is insulted...

  • Cudder

  • thank you sabbath for inspiring a man to turn into a great artist this is how music is supposed to be inspiring others to inspire others no matter what the genre
