  • I would use Quickplay as a front end, very easy to setup and will play games that are .zip .7z and .rar, also has good support

  • NINTENDO 6foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You said Project 64 right? Then how am I supposed to configure this to make it work on Super Smash Bros?

  • @cyberkitty172639 Guys, watch my Goldeneye 64 video, I show you how. It is the same process!

  • More people need to know about this!

  • Or just buy a DS for 10 and a R4 card for 15...

  • @ImmaAkira Where can I buy a DS for 10 bucks? Not at my craigslist, and definitely not on ebay or amazon when I last checked.

  • @gamedexterity My bad, im in the UK, i meant pounds, on the UK site they go for 10-20. Either way, its a good solution for people with slow computers, plus the R4 can go online

  • @gamedexterity Also i meant preowned ORGINAL ds, not lite

  • lol at 0:28

  • anyone wanna play knux chaotix? XD

  • Has it been tested with a dreamcast?

  • @LinkyTheCat Have not tried yet.

  • @gamedexterity Well, Aright. Thank you though.

  • idk wut a thing im doing can u plz put it n steps for me plz

  • @allenrachal Just rewatch the video over and over and over. I can't make it any more simple.

  • how did u get ur server ip on tunggle?

  • @allenrachal It gives it to you automatically.

  • When I try to connect with Mame32 Plus PLus it doesnt join my server or list any servers available. Do you know what I can do to get Mame to work online with tunngle

  • @JakubTilecky I have not tried MAME yet. Is tunngle port opened udp 11155?

  • @gamedexterity Yes I got it to work yesterday

  • @JakubTilecky Tell us what was the hardest part of it all to get it working?

  • @gamedexterity Hardest part I guess was connecting to the server I made and allowing others to connect, but I got it working now

  • @gamedexterity dolphin emulator??

  • @YGxMedia Should work as long as have netplay.

  • @gamedexterity BUT its dosent let me put in stuff like u

  • Added 1.52 snes emulator to more info section. This is what you need to play netplay successfully online. - Versatile

  • How to play multiplayer on PCSX 2 ?

  • @SuperBobo815 Not worth it. The PC is too slow to emulate the PS2 game.

  • now thats a good spot.. i used nds emulator desmume and some briliand minds decided to hack nintendo wirless spot server..they made it for 1-4 days they could connect from a virtual nintendo ds and play worldwide via the wired connections.ofc when the most ppl saw it this trick fell apart.but its really ingenius to not hack a big wirless station but start a server for emulators!many ppl cant afford to buy nds or psp so why not use an emulator and even play versus other users with the same emuls?

  • @NArkWTikA Agreed, but sometimes the real thing is better. Try to emulate PS2 on PC is a pain. That is why I have two of them for cheap. PSP online emulated? Forget it. I got a real PSP for 50 bucks, hacked and I'm playing fat princess online. I love it.

  • does this work on No$gba

  • @Jiznos2 If it has tcp ip or lan, then yes.

  • For GBA

  • Does it work with 4 people? Like if you wanted to play Zelda four swords?

  • @markjokestar1 Yes if you can find 4 people . -Versatile

  • does zsnes have netplay?

  • @MLBPowerProsFanClub2 Yes. - Versatile

  • does this work on Nosgba games?

  • @Drake00000010 If it has netplay, then yes. -Versatile

  • @gamedexterity dude thats awesome!! ,but can you play on wi-fi (no assholeness intended)

  • @Mario16453 Yes of course you can as long as you got a second player to play with.

  • Still. Will it harm my Windows XP computer? If it does, what should I do? And where is a good place to find emulators? Please Reply

  • @Fawful99 Go to romnation dawt net for all your emulation needs. - Versatile

  • thanks

  • hey versatile i have a question can i use winkawaks on tunngle because i have been trying to but i cant for some reason.

  • @Trane209 Does it even have a direct ip feature? - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity no it does not but i figured out how to play online using a different method.

  • @Trane209 Why you leave us on a cliffhanger? Tell us about this different method!!!!! - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity well the different method makes you lag a lot so me and my friend scrapped it and we found another program to play kof, street fighter, samurai showdown. the program is called ggpo and its a good program and little to no lag at all.

  • @Trane209 Oh yes GGPO. I have a video on that a long time ago. Nice gem program. - Versatile

  • Hey guys needing some help. My ports are all forwarded and pass the test on the options screen. But when i login i get a message saying theres a windows firewall mismatch detected. I click help and follow the instructions and on my firewall settings, the public checkboxes are ticked for tunngle client and service but still I get this message when logging in. When trying to host a game on snes9x and giving my friend who is in the same room my virtual IP he cant connect or vice versa, any ideas?

  • @icikle Tunngle says your udp 11155 port is open? - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity yes, its ok I sorted it, turns out it was the latest version of Snes9x, I reverted back to 1.52 and it worked.

  • @icikle Ok, I'll make a note to let people know to use 1.52 of SNES9x. - Versatile

  • It is normal that when I act as server, the game is so slow? I mean My controls got a delay of 0.5 sec xD

or maybe it depend wich game I play...

  • @TheTeamKDE Sometimes it lags, sure.

  • Do ROMS give slow computers viruses?

  • @Fawful99 Absolutely not. Use trusted programs. I am still playing roms and never had an issue with viruses. - Versatile

  • is Tunngle free? this video was hot

  • @zackman1 Tunngle is free, 100%. No spam, no BS. - Versatile

  • does tunngle work on windows XP?

  • @gohan09tan Yes it does!

  • how do i use tgb dual with this

  • @ShiningBlueExorcist What is a tgb dual?

  • @gamedexterity tgb dual is a netplay emulator for gameboy color, im trying to learn how to play on it but no good tutorials

  • @ShiningBlueExorcist Same methods. Host on PC1, connect via PC2. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity don't you need hamachi or some other program, because hamachi doesnt work for me.

  • @ShiningBlueExorcist If you want to do internal LAN, hamachi or tunngle not required. If you are doing it over the internet with someone else, then you need a VPN program. I don't like hamachi for too many reasons I can't explain here. I had quicker success with Tunngle , as you see with my emulator game playing online. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity so if my firend and i live in the same city we have to use a hamachi if we're not at one of the persons house?

  • @ShiningBlueExorcist Well, you can do that, or tunngle, or you can use the real IP address when trying to connect to each other. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity we did, but it just kept saying something in japanese, and the window didnt close, but we didnt really close that thing it just said something which im guessing is waiting to connect

  • @ShiningBlueExorcist Let's start more simple. Try a NES emulator or SNES emulator that is in English. Then we will know for sure if it works or not, or if someone has a port issue. If you can send me a link to a game and the emulator , I can try on my end tonight. - Versatile

  • can i use this on a ds emulator

  • @TheOmnipotentSlayer If you find it has LAN play, then yes.

  • @ThanatoastCrunch Lower left hand corner. - Versatile

  • does this work with nds roms?

  • @thekyozo43 I haven't found a NDS emulator with LAN play. Did you ? - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity no, sorry ... what about gba? I don't know how to do t with that either ...

  • @thekyozo43 I found a GBA emulator with LAN play. I have to test it, and then I'll do a tutorial on it. It's called vbalink if you want a head start. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity awesome :D I'll be sure to watch it!

  • @CardSharkVeteran wtf do i need to do whit that

  • @marocwwe He is saying find him on hamachi to play games. Ha, good luck. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity thx for replying but i really dont know what hamashi is

  • @marocwwe It's another VPN program. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity not gonna bother with it thx for your help gamedexterity

  • do you have router problems with tunngle? bc netplay doesnt work with me bc of problems with the router. hamachi doesnt work either which is very frustrating. tunngle is my last hope now. Ill try it out.

  • @armitage4 Find me. It does work. I did it now with NES, SNES, SEGA, and MAME. - Versatile

  • yourself vs yourself = never lose! or do you never win? my head hurts.

  • @thatbastardson Actually....if you think deeper there was a different innuendo. Playing with yourself is not as fun as playing with another person. LOL. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity check out emuparadise, if youve never been. found it today. emulators, iso's GALORE.

  • @thatbastardson Yes, good times. Too bad most of the stuff there I own the actual devices. :)

  • @gamedexterity is wait for connection on VBA netplay

  • Comment removed

  • @sampsonist

lol that is not gonna work... or are u stating ur tunngle ip is that?

cause as far as i know it always starts with 7.

btw i think thats ur local ip.. which will never let u play lan with ppl outside ur local network.. ur real physical local network

  • @l0mustang0l I thought it was cuz I've copied it from ZSNES from the internet function what will it really be if it was for playing outside the house rather than LAN are you sure it's not my real ip?

  • @sampsonist

do one thing.. type ipconfig/all in ur ms dos prompt

go to top where u see ipv4 or ipv6 whatever u have.. and see if its the same.. if it is.. then thats ur local ip..

have u successfully got to host a game for any one?

i cannot confirm it 100% that its not ur real ip.. because i am not a pro in networks, just a jack of all typo. lets hope versatile can remove this confusion of urs..

  • @sampsonist : Stop. Are you serious or are you telling us a joke? Use your tunngle ip address if you are using tunngle, tell the guys what emulator you are using and what game, and you are good to go. I know the meaning behind that IP address, and that is so evil if you know what you just posted. It's like my IP address is 127.0.0.1. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity I don't get it I use ZSNES goto Netplay then internet & look at "your IP" slot I mean like seriously what kind of ip is that?

Look if you're not sure if it's true I'll prove it by uploading a video & tell me what that is all about? look @ my game status Emu. : ZSNES ROM : Super Mario Kart Port : 7845

    what do you call that?

  • @sampsonist : Give me your ZSNES and I'll see how it is configured. For purposes of this video, I used the other emulator and I was up and running in minutes. Because you are using ZSNES and exploring another option, I'm not familiar with all the little quirks with the program. - Versatile

  • @sampsonist : I did some more research, got zsnes 1.42 and it works flawlessly. Using Tunngle, and I can get my other machine to get to me. If I don't use tunngle, then it defaults to my internal router ip of 192.168.0.101. So your emulator is indeed working. I'll send you a screenshot. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity So you're saying that my IP is working but not for other SNES emulators? thanks for that & I'll play with you on ZSNES anytime we're ready & 1 more thing does that mean if I type your IP in the "client options"(like from the snapshot) it will work just like how I was working it?

  • @sampsonist : Almost. The IP address the emulator is giving you is correct, but its useless for other players. That is your internal IP address, and I cannot connect to that.

If we are in the same tunngle room, then I can connect to you and you can connect to me since we are both using Tunngle ip addresses. - Versatile

  • @gamedexterity I still don't know what's happening but I've installed Tunngle & created a account & every time I sign in it says(sorry about my spelling but)"could not installize the network adapter" then I've tried to configure it but it says(even if I have my router running) it says please make sure you have a wireless network running I mean like what's the point of playing with you online.

PS sorry to waste your whole time with all of this fraudish stuff. D:

  • @sampsonist : You will get a faster response if you post your question on the tunngle forum than relying on me all the time. Did you watch the tunngle troubleshooting video? Try that as a start. I wonder if an antivirus program is blocking your tunngle? Also, read the tunngle webpage related to this error. - Versatile

  • i have one with a link cabel settings

  • @thebankaiking : Send me a link to the ds emulator you found. - Versatile

  • will this work on a ds emulator

  • @thebankaiking : Find me a DS emulator with netplay. Did you find one yet, because I have not found one. - Versatile

  • dude you fucking rock.

  • can this works on wii emulater ?

  • HAHAHAHAHHA LOL VOICEY @0:30 seconds BAHAHAHAHA (Y)

  • How does it work with N64?

Wanted to play Mario Party with some friends.

But i can't see sth. like netplay in the emulator project64.

Or does someone has another N64 emulator that works fine and has netplay?

  • @yodadadada : This is why you need to to do the research, not me. Find N64 emulator with netplay. You can do it with kaillera. I know it works because last year I did N64 with mario cart, and goldeneye. It lagged like hell, but it worked. - Versatile

  • Does this work on Vista ?

  • @tabbykat123344567 : Yes. Now go and have some fun. -Versatile

  • @pornisepic : Almost. If you can find an emu that supports net play, then you are already over the biggest hurdle. - Versatile

  • Another nice tut, bro. Thumbs up. :)

  • @30 sec haha

his voice has more cracks in it than a sidewalk

  • you are the best Versatile thanks now i can play like more than 100 games in my snes emu, now waiting to play PES 2011 jejej :P

  • Nice Video, I bet this could be done with any type of emulator that implements NETPLAY :), Most of them have it featured inside :)

I will test it with Dolphin to play some gc games and wii games too :)

I wil test it with Project 64 too, it would be nice to play Perfect Dark, CBFD and Killer Instincts too via NETPLAY :)

As always nice video Versatile1, I always enjoy your info/tut vids cuz they always work at last :)

    Thanks '

  • lol i have playing with a couple of emulators lately and been looking for a way to play online with them, great timing on this tutorial versatile

  • This does work but nobody joined me lol anyone wanna play mortal kombat 2 for snesx9 emulator?

  • I'm glad you did this V, hopefully we can get a lot more people playing retro games in that channel and eventually people will have a place to meet up. If anyone needs more assistance with finding emulators or roms, you can also join Versatile's project The Underground Computer Club and find many people who can help you with this information.

  • Nice video man. I challenge you to make a video of how to properly install CoinOPS R5 or (any of them) onto the xbox. Since the author BristneysPAIRs is chickening out. I know this is not your avenue but thats why its a challenge. CAN YOU DIG IT? Thanks again for the tutorial on FTPing. Im addicted to adding ROMS.

  • @2Omars : Use the youtube tutorial request form, thanks. - Versatile

  • Nice. I need to check this out. Thanks for the information.

  • how does it work with project 64

i wanna play "the new Tetris" online^^

  • @sirhchris2000 : Read the red annotation again. The method is the same, no matter what game system. As long as the emulator has net play, anything is possible. -Versatile

  • versa playing with himself "classic".....Guessing with this we'll have a emu weekend!!!

  • @gizmoult : Oh jesus. Let the humiliation being. -Versatile
