how much more power does the cai have, my dad has the same commander fully loaded, navi, dvd, and its in beryl green. When i see him put the hammer down, it doesnt seem to fly like this jeep.

@danielhemi2 I think the CAI adds about 15 horses, i did notice a big increase in throttle response and power- the old airbox was so restrictive.

Oh thats good and bad, the bad is it wont go down to v4 mode when u dont need all 8 but the upside is you have all that power with out a 2 second stall for all 8 to kick in or out

@homeboylx i have a 2010 hemi commander & the only time the Fn thing goes into 4 is when ur cruising at a steady speed & have only a lil bit of pressure on the throttle, & i mean lil. once u apply normal pressure its in 8 mode & no it dont take 2sec to change...lol

@hemipower61 Nope the 2006 5.7 hemi has the MDS system. It just does not have the light in the console displaying when it is active.
