So the sr25 takes sr25 magazines, based for the fact sr25 type airsoft gun has long type version 2 gearbox, so your m4 type magazines can't feed on sr25.

FPS doesn't determine an airsoft guns overall quality and performance. Even though this gun shoots 370fps it is very accurate and can shoot past 175ft accurately. You don't need a high FPS to shoot high grade bbs you just need an airsoft gun.

I mean wow, the SocomGear R700 says 280 FPS and guess what, shoots about 150 feet, if you upgrade it you may get more but that just shows FPS doesn't make you more accurate, it just makes other people not want to play with you.

@GLAXxan Yes but its important to let those cheaters know that they got hit and its important that the bb quickly travels to your target before it moves, and with the higher the FPS you'll want to use heavier bb's (every .05 you increase you decrease in about 40 FPS)and that means better accuracy range and less affected by wind.(This is important info to know if you are a field player/ sniper/marksmen/scout.)

@GLAXxan FPS IS very important. Let's say there is a gun that shoots 200 fps and lets say it shoots to about (random #) 100 feet. If you have a gun that shoots 400 fps, then it will shoot (goin off last estimate) 200 feet. FPS gives you range. While it is important to be the best player you know, you also want to shoot your enemy before he shoots you.

the SR25 uses the 7.62x51 round. the AK uses the 7.62x39. I actually prefer the 7.62x51 (.308) because it's more accurate, it's more powerful, and it has better range.

It was a wise decition to put a regular gearbox into this gun; I was looking for a G&P long gearbox for the A&K SR-25; no chance to get it. Now I have the G&G GR-25; it's easy to tune it up with high torque gears and a M140 spring. Mine has about 465 FPS now... enough for a DMR I think. Good review, by the way ;-)

Well, it depends on how accurate this gun shoots. There are some other guns that shoot a high FPS, but have horrible accuracy. Provided it is from G&G, however, I would suspect it does shoot well in terms of accuracy. And, as Mr. Tim said in the video, you can upgrade this gun to give it a higher FPS.

Ok, so I LOVE this gun and will probably buy it soon. I only have a few questions; How/Where can I get it upgraded to shoot 500+ fps? I myself am terrible at upgrading and would rather have a professional upgrade it. Also, will it be able to shoot 500 fps without breaking on me? I've heard multiple people upgrading this to over 500 fps, and was wondering if some of the internals had to be swapped out for higher quality internals. Thanks!

XM110 is a special version of the KAC SR-25 designed for the US Army, its basically the same except there it has the newer URX3 rail system, an adjustable stock and the barrel is longer and has a flash suppressor. there are prob a few other differences but i cant remember...
