Looking for a simple new phone and plan I am very interested in Wind (Vancouver). Sick of Telus and I don't want to sign any more phones with them (apart from iPhone).
Hope they live up to the commercial and can maintain their attractive offers.
I hate this commercial after having to watch it EVERY commercial break on CTV's online programming. With that said I have been very interested in WIND mobile. I currently use Virgin Mobile so the idea of paying outright for a phone is not foreign to me.
I don't hate it at all. Would you rather go watch normal cable/satellite and be bombarded by a ridiculous amount of Rogers and Bell ads? Or how about going to the movies only to see like 3-4 Telus ads because the movie starts.
I would rather watch something from a company I like than companies I wish would phase out of existence.
Brilliant creative! Absolutely nails it. We know you guys gotta make a living. That's OK. We want you to offer a great alternative for a long time. We know you can make it work by charging fair prices and not gouging us with ridiculous, punitive, trumped-up charges.
"If I put the real price I won't get any customers."
-The rallying cry of the satirical hotdog man, as well as Mssrs Mohammad, Entwistle, and Cope.
Wind has a tremendous oppertunity here. Rogers, Bell, and Telus have built up so much animosity with Canadians over the years, that any company that doesn't have that baggage can do well.
For once, having a new brand is much more powerful than having one that is recognized by everyone.
@jimmyk1111 ...Enjoy it while it lasts. If there's one thing I've learned in life, all good things come to an end at some time or another.
Once Wind has enought customers, prices will start to creep higher. If they don't eventually get bought out, it will be a rinse and repeat story. This happened with both Fido and Clearnet.
omg, 40$ everything, talk, text, longidstance to usa, data, FTW!

What A Crock. You guys are NO Better
How about you change the Commercial.
Show the Vendor only charging $1.
He says it is $1 and it is Actually only $1
But when the customers goes to put it in his red lunch box...he vendor says...'NO No...You HAVE TOO Use MY Red Lunch Box....$450 Please!!!!!"
?WHAT? Says the customer, "This red Lunch box is no different than that one"
"I don't care" says the Vendor $450 please! "I know there are thousands of red Lunch boxes just like this - Too Bad" $450 Please!

Right on. Looking forward to some real competition again.
God knows Telus, Bell and Rogers are only accountable to themselves.
