  • At the beginning of July Colombia informed that he had freed Betancourtin and 14 other hostages. Radio however, Suisse Romande will first report on July 4th, the ransoms of 20 million dollars which have received FARC after which a staged liberation operation was made.

  • al var o urribe , that's a good one

  • Alvaro Uribe

No mas campos de concentracion de las FARC, NO MAS MUERTES DE INOCENTES

INFORMES: REDEPAZ PUNTO ORG, PAISLIBRE PUNTO ORG, O COLOMBIASOYYO PUNTO ORG.

    U N E T E NO IMPORTA LA NACIONALIDAD!

  • As always the USA trying to take credit for something they never cared about.-At least France sent a delegation to negociate Ingrid's release, whereas the 3 american were practically forgotten by the goverment...know they happened to be a Key roll in the operation.. right

  • totally agree with you, if it would have gone wrong, i am sure they would not be taking credit for that.

  • its not that the US didn't care about their civilians, the Bush Administration was rightfully wary of negiotiating with a group that uses ransoms from kidnappings to fund their war against the government. Giving into the demands of the FARC will only encourage them to continue to take hostages, and will strengthen their cause to fight the Colombian government. You cannot negotiate with terrorists, no matter how hard it may be...

  • Please, most Colombians that come here are highly educated at least University diplomas and were at least middle class and I'd say at least half come here legally already. You're an ignorant fool go back to watching CNN.

  • agreed...You are 1000% right

  • Tsk tsk tsk. Look at 65% of Americans......

  • I love Bush.

    He is a great man

  • Agreed!

  • Please get this freak out of the screen. Isn't 8 years of an extremist enough already!?

  • hahahah true man hahah lol

    yuuuurribeee !

thats how he cares about, hahaha

  • Bush should at least learn how to pronounce Uribe....

  • Good reporting, as per usual.

  • sure is....

  • pure Colombian inginuaty.. USA had little to nothing to do with that military operation Colombian is an autonomus indipendant state..

  • let me see, we used radio jamming aircraft to make sure one side of the farc couldn't get with the other side to confirm the ngo rebels were taking the hostages to them....and real time reporting of farc movement.sure they did it on there own.they columbia government isnt really financed by the US government. sure..

  • were you there???. Its a Colombian operation.. so you think the COLOMBIAN (NOT COLUMBIAN) govermant cant support them selves with out financing. did I mention at all that the us finace.. oh plus I think you meant to say their not there.. why you taking that attitude tone in your writting, do you feel attacked

  • if so what?? there were american hostages too, if USA wouldn't do anything, then you would be complaining and whining that Bush didn't care about his people. Or would you prefer that Bush would've sent marines to Colombia?

  • Can't afford to send more forces to Colombia.
