definately rodeo...He takes off doing a little bit of a backflip only he turns his body around 90 at take off and adds in an extra 90 to land, plus look how much his skis are about his head... To land, he's looking "up" for his landing, not around...

It's definitely a flatspin. To flatspin, let your feet go in front first and lean back off the launch as if you're doing a backflip, but rather than fliping straight up you let it go sideways, like this. A rodeo is different - you have to dive off the launch head first, and rotate as you're doing it. See "Slopestyle - Pro Skiing Tip #12 - Rodeo 540"

@chrisboatright1 well flitspin isn't a flip, you just spin with your ass straight down. I actually do a flatspin in one of my videos at the end. and this is definitely a rodeo 5. not the most angled flip but still!

It's really hard to be sure what trick it is before you can do it yourself. I didn't know shit before I learned to the the trick!

Hard to say, but when doing a flat-spin your feet should be at level with your head. But guys, I bet most of you, included me, aren't even close to do this.

This is a RODEO 540. I am positive I ski and train with professionals so I know exactly what these tricks look like. A flatspin 540 looks very similar except your feet never go higher than your head in the spin. His do so it's a rodeo 540.

@klexmex Some Spin tricks have to be done by having your feet higher than your head, like the D-spin ! and if your feet aren't higher than your head in a D-spin it's a called a Cork ;)

@zzz512000000 the backflippish rotation goes more to the side than straight back. Thrown in the same direction as a lincoln loop, but since you spin it ends up feeling like a sideways backflip.
