  • He's got a great voice and I LOVE this song! But, honestly, the free, carefree life he describes sounds very lonely to me. "Sans foi, ni loi" would get old, I think. Humans need boundaries. I think this kind of life would only sound good to someone who felt very oppressed by their lives.

  • I think so. What he seems to see as carefree would, to me, seem aimless and haphazard -- as if I wasn't connected to anyone or anything. For me, this would not be living; it would simply be existence. It is relationships, roots, faith, and purpose that give my life meaning. I don't want to be floating around with the wind.
