I was shrooming during this set, this was pretty awesome, but it's too bad most of the set just made me want to put my head down. There's no real reason for them to even be there. I was not impressed and I would rather be chewing on steel nails than see it again. Yeah they played Whiplash and Disposable Heroes but....(shakes head) I don't know maybe it's because I wasn't born in 1975.

yeah they are, EMG's, the pickups in the guitars that they tend to use, and are using on this song, sound really acoustic and clean when there is no distortion. so yeah there definetly is. or they could have gotten new mesa's, they usually take a while to dial in the way you want them.

He's not playing with a thumb pick. you can only see 3 fingers that arent closed and the index is closed in tight with the pick. when he plays leads his third and pinky are closed in and it looks like he's giving the finger to everyone. He said that in a guitar world interview a few years back.

i think rob has a lot to do with them sounding better live now. Jason was fucken awesome with his connection with the fans but rob's a much tighter player and makes them sound not only heavier but much more technically sound.

Believe me, they are BRUTAL live. Went to a concert, and they were getting the crowd going so much that I got kicked in the head, and the guy next to me got his nose broken. People got kicked out, carried out on stretchers. Metallica's still got it.
