I can relate to that, I was there myself wallowing in the mud few times. Not easy to get out of that is it? Especially if you're caught under fire. We were in the back of a 5-ton with no cover (liner ripped) during a sand (more like dirt) storm and it began to rain as well. We were dirty and covered in mud after the rain hit. We still managed to keep our rifles clean after the muddy massacre.
