@sdemine Go Into Settings. Then click on Accounts and Sync. Then Un-Check Background Data. This will double your battery life maybe even triple I turn off Background Data Myself. But u will not receive notifications such as E-mail, Facebook, Etc.

@Whitter2012 No, you can't download Flash on this phone. It isn't even given a choice in the Android Market for this phone. Not having Flash means some sites that use it, you won't be able to see everything from them like live streams, etc.

@mrsbrittanybunny I would be glad to. :) Well I have used both for a while now. Samsung Prevail the touchscreen sometimes is not responding, meaning that when you scroll through the pages sometimes the screen want even move. Also sometimes when texting it'll hit the wrong keys. With the Optimus V I have had no issues at all like that. Hope I helped you, I will try to post a video response to you. I have a Lg Optimus V review I just made today so please check it out. :D

i checked out a million plans and phones it seems like. everything from At&t, Verizon, Straight Talk, Revol, and Boost. I can't believe I overlooked Virgin Mobile for so long. I had Virgin Mobile like 5 years ago and hated it. But I loved the deal on the Optimus. I've been wanting an Android phone for so long. SO LONG STRAIGHT TALK..........the Optimus is in the mail :D

@jkipcount No, it's not rooted. I used LauncherPro which can be found in the Android Market for free.

@erikot1 At the time, the phone was going for $149.99. But then another competitor had it on sale for $129.99 so I went back to Best Buy and had them do a price match since it was within the 30 days. Since then, the phone's retail price has gone up. There was a small period where they couldn't keep enough of this phone in stock even with Virgin Mobile. I guess they realized there was a demand and decided to raise the price of it.

@Josiahrocco Thanks! I changed the launcher which changed the dock. That one is called LauncherPro and there is a free version is the Android Market. Since then, I've been playing around with others such as GO Launcher EX. Hope this helps.

@HippyChick38 Yes it can. Just hold your finger down on the screen and then select Wallpapers and then Gallery. In the Gallery, just select what picture you want to use. By the looks of it, you can crop the picture before it's saved as your wallpaper.

Android Market Place has both free items and pay for items. You're only "limited" by the amount of storage space on the phone itself, (phone has 140mb for storage) though it does support upto 32gb SD cards. However not all apps can be moved to an SD card.

VM like ALL carriers have a cap on their "unlimited" data and web. VM has a 2.5GB cap, then they will throttle your speeds. Other carriers even contracted carriers have caps as well, however every carrier has different GB cap sizes.
