i've seen so many renditions of defying gravity and her take on it left me feeling chills from head to toe the Wicked producers should really look into bringing her on stage as Elphaba she may be older than Elphaba but her voice is absolutely timeless and immaculate... BRAVA

I think she did good. :) Just as good as Idina's version. Idina's live version isn't as good as the studio version, though.

the ONLY thing i don't like is that sometimes she jumps too fast to the vibrato. she needs to just let the note soar before she goes to the vibrato. not every time, because i do like that, but she did it on like EVERY big note. it wasn't bad, just a pet peeve...she was amazing(as was the mash up), and i would LOVE to see her as Elphaba!!!!!!

She is the Lea Salonga of Miss Saigon Kim. If you love musicals, I'm surprised you don't know her. She got a Tony playing Kim in Miss Saigon and the singing voice of Mulan and princess Jasmine in Alladin.

hey, i never said she was terrible or bad. i think she's amazing. she blew me away. she truly is amazing. that's just one thing she did in this particular song that annoyed. that's kind of one of my pet peeves. i'm not saying she's bad or even that she needs to change it, it was just an observation about something that i don't particularly like...
