Im hoping to catch something with my old sony nightshot, i just got some IR filters for it from japan of different strengths, cant wait to try it out although i dont think i will be able to use at night, maybe just night shot without filters, i hope i catch something like this but here in gainsborough nothing much ever happens and i cannot imagine aliens wanting to come here to the town lol.

They no way look like any type of normal aircraft and they don't act like it either. I heard that video cameras are moor sensative to infa-red light and can pick up ufo's that can't be seen with the naked eye. I saw a bright orange ufo with little flashing lights on it a few weeks ago and it flew right overhead at high speed, and that was like nothing else I'd ever seen before.
Take a look at this video (*MUST SEE!!*UFO's near Madeira Beach). This was taken just an hr from my home. It's not real clear, but some very bizarre and erratic objects.
Regardless what they are it is very peculiar and unusual demonstration of flight characteristics. Im right under the flight path of local internation and several smaller airports and Ive never witnessed activity like this.
I am glad people have enjoyed the footage, wther these are alien or not is unknown to me, but I can call them UFOs as to me they are as yet unidentified. I enjoyed getting the footage, it was great fun and I shall endeavour to get more when possible. Whats important, I personally believe, is to get the message out that we are not alone. Sparking a debate and talking about UFOs for me is very important. Just want to say a big thanks to everyone for the encoragement. Heads up!
If "they" frequent that same place (Field or whatever), why not set up cameras in that area? :D Use both Normal video and infra red camera. And keep them in sync. so they both show the same time and date.;)
So if they really are "Invisible" then you have two contrasting videos showing what exactly happened. :) Take care

What i don't understand is the size of these ufo-s/orbs. If they were piloted by something they would be tiny its alwas confuses me. Anyone shed anylight on this??
Incidentally, it could be IR 'anti-collision' / 'covert formation' lighting on military aircraft. Would explain why you can't see them with the naked eye. Also, If you were upwind of any distant covert ops training flights, you may not hear anything. Just thinking outside the square..

I have seen these lights above my head at height just above trees. They don't have strobe lights...the whole light rotates and is brilliant sparkley white, but is what I can only describe as like a diamond in sunlight, with facets flashing.. The one I saw last month moved slow and definatly no sound over the trees and looked like it was just looking around.!!
Great video, but I don't think that what we have here are UFOs. The lights on the trees are car headlights (we tried filming some owls through IR and got the same occurence). I too live in Lincolnshire and we get late night fly overs by all manner of aircraft heading toward either RAF Coningsby, Barxton Heath, Waddington, or Cranwell (Cranwell don't usually fly too late at night).

Sorry, it is a plane. The blinking light hast the period of 1 second, which is the regular period for all planes. The aliens don't know about that rules and usually don't fly linearly and with so low speed. Because of big distance and IR shoot, the plane body can't be distinguish. Also the focal adjustment isn't well pointed so that the light is becoming kind circle covering the plane body contour.
Thats what we all thought to start off with till we went out the back door, it wasn't visible and not only that we could hear nothing, it was completely silent. The object goes behind the ridge, about (6 feet high) and lights up the trees, we then see the same object about half hour later, rise up and leave, how can a plane do that, I am sure it wasn't a harrier?

At 1.02min the first tree of the woods seems to light up and in the second flight at 2.24min the lonely tree lights up and then at 3.13 min another ufo apears in the distance and again at 3.48min did any one notice this? this is not the first time infra red has caught UFO's so I'm thinking of getting a camera the same good vid!!!!

Why would alien craft need flashing beacons? They are most likely helicopters. If it was only 1,000 yards, then you should have gotten closer with all the time available.
These things are certainly not helicopters, we went out the back door and there was nothing in the sky, no sound and no lights. Indeed my mrs got quite frightend, so please do not say they were helicopters, you were not there.
The reason why I got interested in these things is because of the activity near our house and the weird stuff in the sky. Thats why I bought the infra red equipment. :)
If they are ours then our governments need to come clean ASAP. If they are extraterrestrial then what are they doing, moving so slow sugests they are possible mapping the planet for some reason unknown to us?

this looks like a simple helicopter to me. The flashing lights and steady movement i see every night.
