  • Since the recession I've been using Tracfone to save more money and I cancelled our cell phone contracts and we've trained ourselves not to rely on our phones all day and to make unnecessary calls. So my husband and I are saving $120 a month using Tracfone's $19.99 plan/90 days/120 minutes (with the double minutes for the life of the phone plan) . Since Tracfone uses the Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile networks we don't get dropped calls and we get the best coverage.

  • I remember when i use to be in a family plan, and then i went away for college. I stayed within Tracfone though, because for my budget it was the only cellphone provider that fit. It keeps me out of contract and under my max budget which is perfect. Btw the network coverage unbelievable for what they charge.

  • @gwinston475 I figured out why the network is so good- don't hate me for doing research on this lol- but they have deals in place to use both ATT and Verizon networks. That would explain the coverage. Aren't those the top two networks in the country?

  • My whole family also got this deal with tracfone, due the tough economic times we're going through. My dad worked out that we save about $300 a month as a family and we love our tracfones!

  • My son kept begging me for a phone and I was afraid of paying way too much. TracFone put my fears to bed with their Straight Talk plan. It’s just $45 a month for unlimited talk, text, and data. Christmas may be over but who says I can’t get her a TracFone for the New Year?

  • @gousc0612 According to your profile you're 22 years old. How old is your son that was begging you for a phone?

  • I just finished my first year with TracFone and I don't think I could've been happier. I was so happy in fact, that I just renewed that year plan and got myself 250 bonus minutes using a promo code I found on their website. $99.99 for 1 whole year of service cannot be beat.

  • @sirantebellum Wow thats good to know. I just signed me and my wife up since we are looking to cut back on our expenses with my girl going to college and all. I had no idea that they ran specials for members like that. I;m so used to my old carrier who couldn't care less about my business. I guess since there is no contract they have to keep you happy to keep your business.

  • more then i want to with tracfone.

I just got my two kids tracfones for when they go back to school. I'm a working mom and I need to be able to keep track of the kids from work during the day and know they can call if they have an emergency. She's right about peace of mind. What I pay for tracfone is a small price for peace of mind.

  • $30 for a family plan is a great deal. I just recently bought into this plan and so far, it's been working out for us. At this price, I was able to give a phone to my 8 year old daughter who's SUPER EXCITED!

  • Nice that Tracfone offers an affordable option for those with families and tight budgets. It doesn't feel like there are too many other companies out there looking out for the low end user. With kids only really needing a phone for emergencies, there is nothing that warrants us spending hundreds of dollars monthly just to be connected!

  • It's hard to believe that a family of four can each have a phone and, actually use it all for $30. It's a great way to teach the kids how to budget and control their airtime. They offer the best brand name phones and three ways to get minutes and days of service all without a contract. This puts the customer in control of their cell phones not the company.

  • I bought my son a Tracfone for Christmas last year. He has been so proud of it and I am proud of him as he is able to purchase his own minutes. On Tracfone there is an extra bonus besides it being a nationwide and international carrier with clarity and no dropped calls and the extra bonus is that they offer double minutes - for every minute that you buy you get one free

  • I recently found out that Tracfone uses the Verizon and AT&T network for their service. After that, I made the switch and forced my family to switch over too. We’re saving tons and tons of money now on our phone bill and none of us have to worry about contracts or hidden fees. It really is a great relief around the holiday season to know that I can reach them and never have to worry.

  • I really like not having to worry about contracts or any other nonsense. I used to get so many overages and fees on my old ATT bill. Now since I switched to TF, it has been a totally different story.

  • the tracfone family plan is a great plan. we as a family of 4 had to have it.we also opted for the auto renewal and that simplifies things tremendouly. no more worries about running out of airtime, no hassles with having to go out and get airtime, nice cheap plan and phone for the entire family

  • I love Tracfone. It's pretty inexpensive and the service is awesome. My girlfriend got hers last month and I was a bit skeptical at first toward its reliability and such, but we never lost any calls or texts, and the service seems to be pretty good. Everyone should give it a try, I got mine just last week and have been very pleased since.

  • The deals tracfone offer make me happy to have a mobile phone and even more happy that i can get my kids one now that they are back at school.

  • tracfone really does seem to be pulling out all the stops, my best friend just got these for her kids and they've been a huge hit. She said they've got such great coverage that she's gonna get a tracfone

  • I agree Tracfone is great for kids. The reception is reliable and the service is as cheap as you get. I only have one boy and it's only him and me, so I don't have the Family Plan, but I'm still paying only $10 a month for his phone service. Until I got Tracfone for my son I used to think their phones were crappy, but that's not true. Tracfone has some pretty good phones at a decent price.

  • I was hoping tracfone had a family plan because I have 3 kids who need phones and we're on a tight budget. I'm glad I followed my friend's advice and searched youtube for info on tracfone. She says Tracfone is the best thing going for kids because you have control over how many minutes they use. And her kids like their camera phones.

  • The smith Family seems to be pretty smart, after all they do use Tracfone.

  • Im so very money conscious and i love saving money, and this family plan from Tracfone is great for my family. Tracfone has great nation wide coverage and every call i make is clear.

  • Haha this is great. It was certainly easy for me to "like" this video as my family loves this plan also. Once you go TRAC you never go BACK.

  • tracfone is a great way to save money and their phones continue to get better and better as well

  • Whats nice is that it is for 4 phones and is very economical. Having to cut down is horrible but Tracfone have made it affordable and easy to still be in touch and have a nice phone. Thanks

  • This reminds me alot of my family. A great group and Tracfone. Tracfone saves my great group soo much money.
