@MrIDIDI I recommend you research Matthew 5:5 in the WT library. Strictly speaking, The Watchtower teaches that the earth is inherited by the 144,000. Matthew 5:5 is not about earth dwellers, but the anointed: "Upon proving faithful to death, they will share with Jesus Christ in ruling from heaven over the earth for the benefit of repentant humans. (Rev. 2:26, 27; 5:9, 10) They will inherit the earth in a far grander way than did ancient Israel.—Matt. 5:5." (w09 3/15 p.23 par.14)

I also came to this conclusion that 1914 is incorrect, and this made me question the authority of the Governing Body being the "Faithful and Discreet Slave." I was never comfortable with the teaching of Jesus' invisible coming. To me, it feels as if men will still be in control, & that we would have to obey & trust men. I believe the teaching is meant to fool people into the New World Order, run by men. Unless I know that Jesus is truly present, His presence He said that we will undeniably know, I will trust no man.
