  • Real life Beavis and Butthead.

  • Hahahaha. The best is when the man says "Cool, it is now charged".

Is so loaded that spits fire, the true power of a lipo, has become a super saiyan lipo battery.

  • Whoo lipo smoke dont breathe this!

  • подцепели чтоли к автомобильному ?) хорошо горит, там же водород вроде ?

  • li-po batteries. = almost the same as model rocket engines!

  • Now lets see Steve-o stick that up his ass!!

  • You need an Optima Redtop, or Kinetic battery in your car! lol i can pound my two 12" subs for hours and still start my blazer no problem! (one battery too!)

  • aww sweet if that happend id have a flamthrougher car

  • Reminds of the time mine exploded

  • Väkisellä ladattiin vanhalla laturilla jossa ei lipon ohjelmaa. Muutaman kerran piti käynnistää lataus uudestaan, auton akusta siis virtaa.

  • onko suoraan auton akussa kiinni ?

  • Now the car batt! Lol nice video

  • I found this video by typing " Fire is dangerous ".

  • you fucks i needed that battery for my helicopter!!!dick!!

  • I got marsh-mallows !!!! youre a dumb fuck-stick

  • Now I'm really glad I bought a LIPO charging bag!

  • Comment removed

  • So can this happen if i forget the lipo and leave it in the charger?

  • They should make lipos fireworks lololol

  • That was cool じゃねぇだろw

  • STUPID FUCKERS

  • Hi there, I have a few people coming over and I want to show them how dangerous these batteries are and of course everyone wants to see poof/boom, etc. Can I use a 12v 15Amp car charger (lead acid) to make it go BOOM or should I use the car charger on 12v 2 amp trickle? which is better? Thanks.

  • you should buy a lipo charger not a lipo heater

  • Awesome footage

  • hahah i like finish...my fav language

  • is it quite hot no theres just a fire

  • BECAUSE LITHIUM GASES ARNT HIGHLY TOXIC OR ANYFIIN

  • Hmm I got 40A lipos on my ebike, this would be fun when I ride.

  • Proof that there are retards everywhere with too much money to spend.

  • I did not know what LiPO fire was till I saw this video, thanks for posting

  • what did you learn? Overloading Lipos is not a bright idea (except for effect, of course).

How long did it take from hookup to fire?

  • what did you learn? Overloading Lipos is not a bright idea (except for effect, of course)

  • wtf

  • Lipo batteries are not the only dangerous things; so are morons that don't speak English!

  • Was this at the post office or Wal-Mart parking lot?

  • woo woo wo wo....ANYBODY HAVE ANY JUMPER CABLES!!!

  • fuk it send me one that you didnt blowup lol

  • joo suosin ite vielä nimh ja nicd akkuja

  • I think it's charged

  • my phone was explode by overheating the lipo battery

    it was an htc hero

  • firework

  • and we want to put this cars !

  • that could be a good nitrous oxide for races!

  • Like 5 years ago my sister's boyfriend had a new RC car and was running it outside of his apartment and the car bursted into flames like this. Whats ironic is i got into RC from his experience.

  • Yes, those LiPo's had very tight plastic covering. It is not easy to explode LiPo's.

After several cut off's this happened. Tight covering = pressure for explosion. NiCd programme and old charger. This video is supposed to be educational and even funny=)

    Or isn't it not?

  • @timpska

thers nothin ive seen here to wonna make me throw that battery out.

i would dust that battery off with an old tissue, and shes good for another 300 cycles.

no problemo, get that lipo right back into your rc car and its all good.

    tissue man, thats the ticket.

  • 1:12 don't worry...you got two full LiPos now.

  • Lipo flamethrower :))

  • Come on people they hooked it to a car battery for this to happen. If you take care of your battery and don't do dumb shit like connectiing it straight to a car battery then you don't have to worry about shit like this really. Use a lipo charger and follow the rules, they are there for a reason !! im sure this video is there for demonstration

  • This is how we Finnish people like to charge our LiPo's ;)

  • I wonder what train of thought is going through that batteries rational mind as there filming this, my guess is 'Oh shit! I'm on fire! What are you guys doing to me! Put me out! Ahh it hurts, stop the pain...' etc. That's just my guess though.

  • Have you any idea how toxic those fumes are?

  • they're gonna have babies with 1 arm and half a leg

  • @statixpron Ya and those babies would still be smarter than this lot!

  • That would suck if that happened in a rc

  • It would suck even more if it happened in your pocket. Mobile phones use these LiPo batteries as well

  • yeah my cell[hone dropped and some how when i picked it up the same thing happened but luckily i through it on the ground before it like blew up!!!

  • YA CHATTIN SHIT

  • no they use Li-ion

  • NO THEY USE LI-ON BATTERIES DUMBASS

  • liion actually

  • That would suck if that lipo did that in a $300-$500 rc car/truck

  • this happened in my rc airplane, it crashed in a heap of jumbled, burnig lithium

  • hauska ja muutenki hieno video! ;D

  • im gatting a air hogs f18 hornet and it uses LiPo whats do i do and it charges via the remote control

  • :D I hope that this wont happen while I'm flighing my Lama V3.

    C2OH6

  • how does it smell?

  • can u thro a lipo in a fire and it explode

  • that is exactly the same thing that happened in my havoc heli while it was flying

  • u managed to blow up two lipos in one day??impressive :)

  • i had a lipo battery once in just exploded in my rc car

  • what's the new battery that's like LiPo but safer? i forgot what it's called

  • LiFe- batteries are safer. Are used in electirc-tools and cars (1/1).

  • @timpska LIFe batteries are not used in cars. Theres only one car that uses them and thats the new porsche but they cost 10 times more than an ordinary led battery

  • @ARX7ARBALESTZ7 If I am understanding you statement correctly they are called Li-Fe battries. They are safer because you dont have to worry about them discharging below 3 volts per cell like Li-Po therefore makeing them less prone to blowing up.

  • poor bateries

  • It was charged with older LiPo-charger, with NiCd-program. Which cut-off current several times. So we intented to do it. By our own risk. Just to show how it will goes, when it happens. It is NOT easy to do with update chargers, but it is still possible to blow-up your battery. Be allways careful with those products.

  • you could have just charged it at 3C or 4C. Gives the same results ... ask me how I know :(

  • I have seen a 6s 5000 go up.

smoke cloud 300-500' high and about 150' wide. huge fire ball

  • Like really expensive fireworks!

  • And a expensive mini flametower too.

  • l love you

  • Last one

    4th of july much?

  • F L A M E T H R O W E R !

  • Hi ! About the video; It was misused older charger with NiCd-programme, and in reality, charger cut-off several times anyway. So I am trying to be kind of educational with this video; No modelers were harmed during filming=) But, this could happen in real life if there is some malfunction or misuse of equipment. Have a good and safe RC-season!

  • No, no, no-I have raced for a while and have seen NIMH overcharge-they would his and smoke but NEVER do this-this is like a F*&%ING blow torch! But thats electric rc for ya-whats the next hot battery tomorow because the one I just bought yesterday is already obsolete! Same for my motor, chassis ect..-he he.

  • They hooked it up to their car battery what the hell did they think would happen. When charged properly this wont happen. Just remember the the old NiMh packs would explode so thnk about it

  • i now love LiPo batteries, i must do this on a massive/stupidly ridiculous/spectacular, scale

  • wtf fricken batteries from hell!

  • wtf!! those things are inside a xbox wireless headset!,that could explode..and u have to rechgarge it so wtf?!...im going to sue

  • LiPo's are extremely safe if you charge them properly. To get them to catch fire, you have to overvolt them massively.

  • and how would i charge them safely?

  • With the supplied charger, probably.

  • hmmm xbox 360 wireless microphones have these kind of batteries in them and the battery itself says "DO NOT RECHARGE!" and microsoft gives you a cord and tells you to recharge.....i should sue

  • still should haha take proper care of them, reap the benefits!

  • its dangerous if you fuck around with charging proberly, but it aint that bad, just get decent quality's

  • "leave it be there" ?????? Who wrote this translation???

  • what an ANGRY battery

  • During racing at my indoor carpet 1/10 touring car club, i have seen a lipo pack go up from being damaged in a crash.... The guys here are showing you the potential of damage from an exploding pack - imagine if that pack was in your car or pit box.

  • Quiet toxic I understand as well.

  • Incredible how much energy is stored in those batteries to sustain such a flame!

  • Yes, so it does.

  • good vid shows what COULD happen

  • I once had a nicad battery in my pocket aswell as my keys, the battery shorted through the keys when i was climbing up a steep banking, i could only get it out at the top because i was wearing jeans. Those pockets now have a lump of plastic in them, it burst into flames just seconds after i threw it out of my pocket, i think i was quite lucky!

  • Comment removed

  • they done it on purpose.

    moron.

  • Comment removed

  • perfect demonstration of why you shouldn't give pyromaniac retards lipo batteries

  • dumb asses

  • Hey, don't be surprised if Youtube ban this video. They just pulled off my very similar one last week, with no explanation as to why......

  • I have been kinda expecting it to happen... Since I sent link to this video into American RC discussion group and was immediately asked to remove it as disturbing.

But to be honest... If average brain equipped person don't see that this is done deliberately in safe environment to see and to let others see what might happen if you mess things with Lithium Polymer batteries... I give up!

    /JJ

  • yes but that doesnt explain how anyone in their right mind could see this as "disturbing"

  • Yup, I didn't get it aether...

But removed it from there anyway.

It seems to make big enough fuzz here :)

    /JJ

  • lol

  • thats what cheap hongkong packs are good for :D lol

  • lmao

  • Hemmoil ollu rankkaa

  • lol

  • Those batteries were already ruined and had lost 'the punch'. Destroying them gave some comfort.

    Thanks. Asshole :)

    /JJ

  • I only use lipos. if you use your brains a little and take when using them you can't go wrong. those idiots in the video were being... idiots.

  • well on this reply page B44501RacerEX says he will never go lipo because if a charge is dropped it can explode. Besides charging them properly and knowing what you are doing how do you avoid explosions?

  • if you use a computerized charger there's very little that can go wrong. I'm always in the room when i'm charging my batteries, and my lipos are always stored inside a sand filled flower pot to prevent combustion.

  • thank you. I also have seen a bag that you can use and one guy uses a metal cash box. very smart

  • Notice how they are making the lipo fire? And it's not an accident? You have to cause the fire..

  • rofl the translations were the best evar

  • ....scary stuff...

I'll never go lipo unless it's hard cased.

Drop a soft lipo and charge it and see it explode like that. Happens to people all the time...very dangerous..

  • why, so you cna have shrapnal with your explosion?

  • Trigger?

Just move all energy from 60Ah@12V lead battery into couple of 2,2Ah@11,1V LiPo's.

    No triggers needed :)

Well, actually we got five NiCd delta-peak cut-offs during the process... and several warning's from the charger.

    /JJ

  • Thats pretty cool :D, how do you trigger that?

  • tämä!!!

  • wow dangeorus fire
