I played FFCC: Echoes of Time for DS, and it was a rather good game. The graphics were good, combat good too, you could mix spells, but no summoning. You can have a party of four, selkies can double jump, and the storyline has twists and turns, which makes it like a book. I suggest you get it XD

And when I liked this game so much, I thought the Crystal Bearers would be good too, until I saw that it only came on the Wii.

Every FF game is NOT connected (except for FFx and FFx-2), they r not a sequel to one another. instead each game has its own distinctive world,character,and most important the Plot. as a matter of fact,there ARE other things existing in almost all the series.such as Cid,moogle,summoning mosters,omega,ultimate weapon, airships..etc PS:the giant chicken is called 'Chocobo'So many ppl rant/hate FF cuz of the unanimous bad comments they read on net but never really trying out the game for themselves

-Spells (Fire, Fira, Firaga~Thunder, Thundra, Thundaga~etc.)

-Several enemies (cactuars, behemoths, malboros, etc.)

-Items (phoenix down, tent, ether, etc.)

-Airships

-Moggles

-Several characters/names (Ultima, Omega, Cid, Wedge, Gilgamesh, etc.)

-Epic Story

And I'm sure I'm leaving a lot of things off that list.
