Forced labour was a duty of nation during war, like as military service. Transportation of Korean labours from Korea to Japan started in the Autmn 1944 and finished in the Spring 1945 by American bombing. It lasted only 6 months.

What was happened actually? Many brothel owners they were Koreans opened their business next to military gates. It was a natural because they could make more money. This is quite natural. Therefore Japanese military did not open these brothels during the war, but brothels owners who were local people in the countries which Japanese troops were dispatched. Were they hurt by the Japanese? We can’t find any evidence of that except ladies verbal statements.

On December the 14th, 2011 the survivors of the comfort women held the protest in front of the Japanese embassy in Seoul, Korea for the 1000th time, since it began in January, 1992. The protest was held in Korea, Japan (mainly the Japanese citizens) and 8 countries in total. However, the Japanese gov. has yet to apologise despite the world's strong demand. They do not seem to understand what "apology", "honesty" and "sympathy" are.

Those "Allies" (USA, UK, Russia, France, and etc) do not claim the visit to Yasukuni shrine by Japanese ministers. Only China and Korea claim about it.
But China and Korea are not included in "Allys" stated in Article 23.
That means China and Korea have no right to claim how Japanese government treats war criminals.

Forced labour was a duty of nation during war, like as military service. Transportation of Korean labours from Korea to Japan started in the Autmn 1944 and finished in the Spring 1945 by American bombing. It lasted only 6 months.
There were 2.7 million Koreans in Japan at the end of war. Just imagine passenger capcity of ferry boats between Korea and Japan in those days. It is impossible to carry 2.7 million people in 6 months.

At "Internaitonal Symposium of East Asian Peace and Human rights" in Feb. 23, 2002, Ms. Kim GuiOk, a professor of Kyungnam Univ. told that ROK Army also built Comfort Stations and allowed Korean soldiers to have sex with Comfort Women there.
By "Off-line History of War" edited in 1956 by Headquarters of Korea Army, there were 89 Comfort women in 4 Comfort Stations in South Korea, and 204,560 times of usage.

WWII was already past issue between allied and Japan, since San Francisco Peace Treaty was signed in 1951.
But China, and Korea did not sign that treaty. They just want to pretend winner of WWII to satisfy their people. But actually not...that's why they are keeping to blame Japan as of today.

But at least, Japan has already accepted the sentences of Tokyo Tribunal by signing San Francisco Peace Treaty in 1951 already, and it is a past matter.
Those countries that did not sign the treaty, Japan has signed two-naitons treaty individually, including money compensation.
China and South Korea also signed treaties with Japan, and agreed to deeming those past issues were finished. Why are they raising past issues again ?

But Japanese soldiers raped Korean women too during annexation period. Comfort women in Korea at that time, they were dragged into shelders and got raped 20 or 30 times a day. Most of them were 15 or 16 virgins. Due to this reason, Korean parents at that time made their daughters marry very early. At least Japanese did not take married women for comfort women. They were young virgins. Witnesses are still alive.

The class was watching it as one of the terrible cases in the sex trafficking history.
