This tune has nothing to do w/ Christainity. Nobody has a monopoly on the word 'God'. The term itself is a common AA phrase. Its about a relationship w/ a Higher Power,,,about graditude and not forgetting where we came from or where we might go, if not for surrendering. I think it was written from that perpective rather than a religious one.

Religion- just another barrier btw peoples. Another way to say I'm different/better than you,,,not my cup of tea.
