they arent. 12 gauge slugs make a bigger hole but arent nearly as good for longer ranges. if you have a 30-06 or other high powered rifle i would use that instead of a slug gun but where i live you can only hunt with muzzleloaders or shotguns for gun season
more hitting power more stopping power, chances are if you hit it in the right spot its dead on impact with a centerfire you can hit it in the right spot but it might run and die 100 yards away

I own a benelli supernova and I shoot slugs out of it and its a smoothbore. I shoot 3 inchers out of a rifled choke tube and it seems to work just fine for me.

Now look closely at the pump as he fires the shot, it's being pullback with the recoil. Semi-auto don't pump, they have a bolt doing the job

It didn't jam. It was a pump action & the forend was laying on the rest. when he shot the recoil pushed the forend back partially cycling the gun.

alot of areas have restricted gun hunting to slug guns because they dont have the range of a centerfire rifle
the effective range of a slug gun at most would be like 200 yards and that would be pushing it to the max
the effective ranges of some centerfire rifle cartridges are just over a mile

30 years ago this would be a non-issue. Society has gotten so soft to the point where the mere utterance of the word "gun" sends people who know not of hunting or self defense speculating about "serial killing" or "getting off on hunting". Its really a shame

You don't have a gun? Then you are most likely not familiar with gun laws so you don't think like a responsible gun owner. In most states it is illegal to have an unsupervised unlocked gun with children in the house. I don't have kids so my collection would be spread out. If your kids got a loaded gun and managed to shoot themselves of someone else its one your fault for not teaching the children proper gun handling and two the ammo and gun should be separated and unaccessible by the children.

i have nothing against killing animals in a humane way. Everyone eats meat.
But what pisses me most is that people enjoy doing it. Animals FUCK NONSTOP they need to be killed sometimes but not by people who get an orgasm killing a living thing. I wonder what happens when there are no animals to kill all those people will get their minuguns from the basement and go practise shooting in a park?

Hes using the same rifle and bench rest at 0:22. The spent cartridge is exiting nicely at 0:22 but not 0:15. Still looks like a jam to me.
dosn´t make a whole lot of sence to end the reloading cycle with the spent cartridge poking halfway out, just because he used a bench rest.....
But if you are better informed....please tell me.

I understand your point and probably havent made myself clear, they display several semi-autos but the one at 0:15 is a benelli Nova or Supernova which has its distinctive pump shape, beleive me I have one.
Now look closely at the pump as he fires the shot, it's being pullback with the recoil. Semi-auto don't pump, they have a bolt doing the job
