This song is such an inspiration!!! I heard this song for the 1st time when I was pregnant with my son. I felt such a sudden primal protection of him, little did I know I would later find out my son has Asperger's Syndrome. He's now 6 & is amazingly smart & gifted. I'm still very protective of him, even when he tells me "let me do it myself." I'm proud of my son & he knows everyday how momma feels about him!!

@kitty2598 I teach children with special needs. I have a brother than is/was learning disabled and always felt so bad. Today he is 57 years of age and still unable to read. Today I am teaching his son, my nephew. I believe that we all have our disabilities, some are just more apparent than others.

I've been stuck in the hospital since Christmas. I'm glad I have good friends though. I feel so lucky to have such supportive people and this song makes me think that there's always someone with worse problems. I thank God my problems aren't very large

I have a best friend who is Special Ed.. I am not, but in my lanuage class their are 3 boys who are. My launage teacher lets me, another boy, and the other 3 go into a different room to do our projects or something. We have extra time do them....well I have been coaching them slowly to get better, and a little quicker at doing things they enjoy. There happy cause theri learning from a different way...well my friend..he is in Alterantve school cause of something he did....Pray for him plz

@kitty2598 I teach children with special needs. I have a brother than is/was learning disabled and always felt so bad. Today he is 57 years of age and still unable to read. Today I am teaching his son, my nephew. I believe that we all have our disabilities, some are just more apparent than others.
Kitty, you are far more than "EQUAL"!!! You have taught me compassion beyond recognition and have brought me to my knees with love....Thank you.
