Succession would cure the welfare problem. A state could have copious E.B.T., Section 8-type welfare benefits, and all the welfare-queens would migrate there. States could compete for the type of people they want.
Be nice if we could just get a divorce from congress and move congress to it's own island to run where it could run record trade deficits and have no jobs all while making it a great environment for ceo bonuses. Congress does whatever the campaign donors want and could care less about what the people want. We need jobs and who in congress really cares. They are not deserving of a paycheck.
It just seems irrational to lump 300m people together under one single central authority. Why not give people 50 different options to find the government they like best, and do it peacefully?
Of course the extremism of State secession wouldn't be necessary if we hadn't abandoned federalism for nationalism. I think that's why people think the Constitution is confusing. They think it created "one nation" instead of a federation. It's like getting a motorcycle owner's manual when you buy a car.
I agree with him. America is no longer a republic, with its entire citizenry, including the ruling elite in our govt under the law. It is an empire and like the others it will break apart. This in the end can be a good thing. Federal dollars have been used to bail out cities such as philly and ny. If this continues on with STATES such as CA, then that means responsible states(like AL, TN, TX etc) will cough up the doe. Why should we continue to support them(yankees, CA, etc)?
The 14th Amendment made us into subjects giving taxing authority to the federal govt and states unlike they could do to a freeman. Fact is the status of "subject" is a form of servitude as the founders stated and is more of a form of slavery ... if we are slaves to the federal govt, how can any of us have debt to the fed?
thats what the 10th Amendment was for but the 14th amendment screwed us,If we tossed out the 14th Amendment i think all the states would be happy each state rules there self and then u have a weak federal government that needs the states ok before they can do anything.
@jakeblack1982 The states aren't really states anymore. Japan is a true state with a vast majority of it's own people in control and a tiny minority who live by their rules. When the US nationalized after the War for Southern Independence over time through internal migration and unlimited immigration it skewed the populations of each state and destroyed individual state unity. Each state houses a number of nations within itself instead of consisting of a single nation. State = Nation.
I agree, thou id prefer decentralization to outright secession. You only go to secession when its clear that the other parties are not willing to allow decentralization. This is because in the same sense secession allows us to go our own way, decentralization has the same effect. We have 50 states all of them are capable of performing all the essence functions of government much like the comparably sized nations of the world, there is no reason we cant simply used a less centralized system.
He misses the point. You had Mormons in Utah, Germans in Montana, French in NO, old-line Spanish in CA, and so on. There was discrimination, racial separation, not just blacks. It was a nation that benefited all in some way because of the LACK of an overarching Fed. As the farms emptied to factory towns and cities, the way after the 'wild west', and the War to End All Wars, was Depression. A rural divided America was far more united. Pax Americana proved more a bump along the way. Smaller Fed!
I don't think states should leave but should be able to unilaterally nullify federal actions against it or its citizens. This would allow states to retain their independence from the federal government without dissolving the union.
@timbosforporn The problem with that is it would be fought against. I believe violence is inevitable now. It was time for nullification in the mid 20th century when the Military Industrial Complex was in it's infancy, the Jews hadn't yet strangled our media and we were more unified as a people now it's way too late for that to work. The Government would invade any state that tried and label the action "racist". We cannot avoid war at this point in my opinion. Jews are too powerful.
Yeah the states have the right thats for sure. I live in connecticut and I wish they would get there shit together and get on this bandwagon. Good vid Ramz!
Good vid! Now, why is it no longer working? It's not that the states don't get along with each other. It's that the states are not getting along with the federal government, which has become a fascist system controlled by criminal psychopaths who are not Americans, but are Internationalists. And they achieved this primarily through control of the US monitary system via the illegal, unconstitutional, Federal Reserve. Our Founders knew this would eventually happen and fought against it.
do you really think a state like Connecticut will not be superior to a state like Louisiana with the vast amount of wealth CT has not to mention better schooling the Southern states like NC only do well because of Yankees moving there and producing
Why do you demonize liberal states the education in liberal states far exceeds conservative states as well as less teen pregnancy rates. not to mention Conservative states have authoritarian theory s on governing. you have some want to outlaw Homosexuality, single mother hood, and abortion
I'd suggest researching where compulsory schooling originated, why it was created, and why it was implemented here in the U.S., and, well, all over the world, in the first place.
I think its pretty authoritarian when the govt thinks it can steel our money through income taxes instead of letting us spend it to help ourselves. What happens now is that the money you earn gets eaten up which means you have less to spend for your own survival which drives you into an impovrished state.
@tynitty516 You just stated why we need to secede. People are different stop looking at your views as right and for everyone. That kind of thinking is why Americans can rationalize our continued presence in the middle east.
I think the differences have been unnaturally magnified. There is such a thing as an American. It is a way of thinking. It is stronger than political bickering.

It makes sense for Alaska to become a nation. If it does I hope it will become a White Nationalist Nation.
