everytime they show clips from the fight they show frankie taking penn down twice. one time he got bj down, didn't get on top of him and bj got right back up. the other time he was on top of him for a very short while, did no damage and penn got it back to the feet. what they don't show in the clips are the multiple time bj stuffed edgar's td attempts, which i think was about 10

i really like bj too....he is a legend in every sense of the word but on the other hand i watched mtvs true life a long time ago and it had frankie on it i really liked his attitude and have been a big fan every since then....so personally ill be happy with who ever wins.....just hope bj is on his game a little more
Half of BJ's career has been fighting rematches. St Pierre twice, Hughes twice, Uno twice, Edgar twice. In all those rematches, none of them have turned out the same, and Penn's never won one. That said, his gameplan was borderline retarded in the initial Edgar fight. He should have took him down in the third.

Frankie Edgar clearly won that fight on the cards. He had a good in-and-out strategy & it won him the fight. It frustrated BJ Penn but it's only going to make BJ a better fighter. Frankie is the champ but I want to see a fighter come in & destroy the previous champion so that there is no controversy or question who's better. I know all fights can end that way, but in my eyes, the best fighters finish fights. I hope the 2nd fight ends by KO or Tapout. I don't want to see it go to the scorecards.

personally i think Penn did what he used to do... take fighters lightly and think he could get by on natural talent alone. We've all seen what he can do when he's motivated for a fight. I think losing his belt has him more motivated then ever.. i think we will see a more dedicated and focused BJ in the rematch. That being said, Frankie Edgar is the real deal, so it will still not be easy for BJ.
