GH1 had way too hard hammer-ons, everyone strummed them

GH2 had hammer-ons like the recent games except with smaller timing window and you couldn't hit any notes between

GH80's was the same as GH2

GH3 had no front-end timing window for HOPOs, meaning you could hold the note and when the note comes, it just plays it itself

GH:A got a front-end timing window

GH:WT got the sliders which had smaller timing window than GH2 HOPOs

GH:M has fixed sliders, they're compltely like HOPOs. It's in your head.

Well, maybe that just applies to all RB1 notes (INCREDIBLY SMALL TIMING WINDOW WITH GUITAR OR BASS). But don't forget, I have a hard time noticing the hammer-on differences. The only things I noticed were timing windows for normal notes and the rediculously small slider gem hitbox on World Tour.

No, actually the hammerons are annoying as fuck. The engine lets you hit them LATE, but not early. This makes for some particularly annoying misses, especially if you're used to GH3.
