Ok. well quite simply, the reason electrons return back to their compound is because it is a flow of charge. Similar to water moving a water wheel. When an electron is released there is a potential difference in charge Q, The electron then needs to race through a circuit (performing whatever work it must) back to a compound which allows it back to its original element. Simply like water being re-used to perform work by means of gravity.

Well, what it is is a way of saying "Hey, take it easy. I am a person just like you are. Feel free to talk but there is no need to have a go at me", that sort of thing. It may be a bit old fashioned but people still say it as "we people". Its just about being decent.

Also, this seems to be a good video. If my understanding is correct, this solar panel is known as amorphous. The other type of PV panel is crystalline. I'm new at this so.. discussion encouraged.

Multi-junction devices are what is used to connect cells/panels. This increases the system's power as each new panel is added. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

There is also concentrated solar power which focuses sunlight to heat water, create steam and turn an engine. To my knowledge, it doesn't exist as a residential application. Err.. you know.. for houses. Most solar farms around the world though do it this way.

Yeah, go solar! The sun shines everywhere, there is no pollution and you don't have to wait millions of years for the raw materials to be created :D
