  • I was in 5th grade on 9/11 this year was the first time that I watch the footage of it

This song makes it more powerful

  • God Bless all who died that day

  • The lyrics are quite appropriate for this video: "Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing, Come the judgement day,

On the bloody morning after....One tin soldier rides away.

They also apply to George W. Bush

  • 27 people are now enjoying paradise with Bin Laden

  • this is a horrible horrible thing and its a good thing they got osama. many innocent people died in this attack :'(

  • Ever wonder why one of the buildings is already burning in the one clip with the guy under one of the towers?

  • @Gayboybob Based on my recollection that is the second tower, being hit, but I do agree that is looks kinda out of place compared to the next sequence.

  • I cried so much when I heard that our country was being attacked and they killed our freedom and all we stood for. Now were at war today and tell them to hate someone else not USA. were forgiving and loving people. Plz dont be hating cause were free and theyre not, just dont know why they did it. Love the video and bringing tears in my eyes

  • This is an amazing tribute. The song is so appropriate. I didn't know very much at all about Islam before 9/11. I knew one girl that I went to school with and that was all. We all learned an important lesson about Islam on 9/11.....it was a tragedy.

God bless America and great job on the tribute!

  • Wonderful video ! interesting this song says, "Do it in the name of Heaven, you can justify it in the end", since so many terrorists claim that what they do is in the name of religion, just using as an excuse to do what they wanted to do anyway. Just a thought.

  • Justice finally prevailed with the killing of BinLauden. Thank You SEAL TEAM 6 for not allowing the Bastart to live any longer

  • This song and video are a great tribute to all the souls lost in the attacks that fatefull day

  • I remember the very moment that the second plane hit the second tower, I knew we were at war with a very evil adversary. In the week after 9-11, as I tried to make sense of what had happened, I kept hearing this song in my head with the words echoing “do it in the name of heaven so you can justify it in the end”. Whether you believe in a heaven or a hell, the horrible things mankind does using religion to justify their actions, is pure evil.

  • I find this to terribly ironic. The song warns of killing for riches, but the images have been used to justify the USA's Iraq war, where they have seized oil wells. (Modern day gold).

    Makes me sad.

  • @Goderich1942 As I have said MANY times before, I made this video in October of 2001 prior to any invasion.

  • @tmpol he is dead

  • Beautiful video and song. I remember 9/11 and everyone who lost their lives that day. and to the first reponders who were sdoing their jobs. I hope Congress passes the bill to help you. I contacted my Senators and i sent a letter to our newspaper on your behalf. I hope it helps. You are all HEROES.

  • Don't Hate, Just Love, just shut up and watch the video and understand its meaning behind those words. Ignorance is bliss.

  • Awesome video and song!

  • did u have to try to explain what happened that day to a classroom full of innocents children asking y did they do this what did we do to deserve this and not know how to tell them that is one day i will never forget i just dropped my nephews off at school when it happened they were 3 and 4 i cried and still do when i think about that god forsaken day my prayers still go out to those who lost loved ones that day and our fallen brothers and sisters in the middle east since than

  • @danny53733 I didn't have to explain it to classroom full, but I did have to explain to about 5 or 6 children.

Not to be judgemental or an asshole. But use of a little grammer would make you comments much more readable.

  • @danny53733 I was having a conversation with a friend's high school junior son who was asking the same questions as the young children. I could not explain, but did remind him of one thing. His goal was to teach history in the high school level. I just asked him to watch and learn..as THIS was the history he would be teaching. He told me later it gave him a whole new perspective on it.

  • @danny53733 My son was homeschooling at the time, and my daughter was in parochial school. I chose to teach my son and daughter about the Silk Road and Marco Polo, doing what I could to turn it into at least something positive...historical perspective, to show that there were some things good that came from that part of the planet's history.

  • @danny53733 My daughter also got a very light, delicate, and (as positive/gentle as possible) teaching given her age and the school's philosophy on teaching "hard cold facts" of life.

  • Thank you for posting this! I will never forget where I was the day that I saw America attacked! That is that day we learned, again, who we were! It had not happened since 1812; we bow to no one!

  • Okay I know this is a very big thing but that whole Al Queda thing; last I checked they had no confirmed proof that the terrorists who jacked the planes were even part of Al Queda. Or am I wrong? Regardless, very good vid, very touching-tragic event. well done.

  • Islam is entering the stage in its religion where fundamentalist insanity is prevalent, much like Christianity's crusades and the dark ages of Europe. Sadly, the impact of a pop 70's remake of a song has more impact on me than reading both complete books of either faith. The human heart (despite tradition based on birthright) will always carry us forth through the shit our sisters and brothers have put us through.

  • You know, all these years later,I still can't believe all that happened. It seems as a horrible nightmare.

  • Thanks for the video and your work to put it together with this great song. The song brings back memories of a more innocent time in my life.

Those who will be political will put a political spin on every issue. We just have to accept some things as God's permissive will and agree that... "the Lord giveth and he taketh away... blessed be the name of the Lord".

  • totally love the message this one gives and one should not not forget what happened that fateful tuesday morning of 9-11-2001 thanks

  • There is no subliminal message in the video.

  • I meant no disrespect to your video or your talent. I resign myself to interpretation and simply say that you video and choice of companion musical selection were appropiate.

  • Very well then thank you for the compliment.

  • i was a in class when an announcement came over the intercom sayiing the trade center had been hit by a plane and terrorism was suspect. I didn't think much of it. just one plane hitting one building? well that's horrible but that sort of thing happens almost monthly *somewhere* on this planet. when HOURS later a second plane hit i was wondering where the fuck our military jets and radar technology where. When it collapsed HOURS later with minimal evacuation i was shocked again. wtf happened?

  • I was in 3rd grade in the middle of math class when all the teachers ran into the hallway and said what was happening. Parents came to the school to pick their kids, but my mom couldn't leave work so I stayed till 3 when mom picked me up. My dad works 4 the NYPD so my mom had no idea where he was. He wasn't there thank god. I almost lost my uncle. If he was 3 seconds slower running he would be dead. At the time it didn't phase me but every year since it phase me more. 7 years gone by. WOW

  • dondean u did a really good job

  • I never saw that shot at 1:15 before. I think the song is perfect and when will the worlds leaders ever get the message? People are still suffering today over what happened that day and it isn't bad enogh that the "king" in charge took his false "intelligence" and got into a shooting war that we are still struggling to get out of. I can't believe he got re-elected after that. To all who died then and since Rest In Peace!

  • Man I remember when this happened, I was just in 3rd grade. My mom picked me up and she said that she heard the DJ talk about it on the radio and she thought he was telling a sick joke at first. I didn't really understand what was going on then, it makes me sick to my stomach now...

This is such a beautiful song.

  • It took me a 100 or more times to hear that the Treasure was Peace on Earth.

  • great job with this vid I found it vary true to recent events.

  • True.

  • rest in peace evryone

  • Live in peace everyone

  • cause this music is about war and greed

  • Precisely and my viewpoint is that the terrorists are the valley people and the US is the mountain people, because we support Israel. Israelis are prosperous people and they are persecuted because of it and us by extension.

  • That is a very peculiar comment. One might suggest that Israel is prosperous because of the USA, and the billions, perhaps hundreds of billions, of dollars in US taxpayer assistance over the years. Truly prosperous nations do not need billions of dollars a year in foreign assistance. Secondly it might be suggested that without oil we would have no interest in those states. When has a Mid-East nation ever come here to look for gold, siver, timber or coal? We go there for THEIR oil do we not?

  • There has been a zionist movement since the late 1800's. When WWII was over alot of Jews were looking for a homeland of there own. Historical documents, including the Bible state that the nation of Israel was in it's current location. Since 711K Arabs were more or less kicked out by the UN and 850K jews came to Israel. The arabs are pissed. It has nothing to do with OIL and everything to do with LAND.

    But this is off topic.

  • Why this music?!

    Rest In Peace

  • Because it fits.

  • the video was very moving you did a very good job

  • Thank you. Sorry about your troubles with posting, but I had some people fighting back and forth in my comments section.

  • This was incredibly moving, beautiful, and well thought out. It gave me goosebumps. The writer of Billy Jack was far seeing. I don't think Hell has many virgins...might be hard to get 72 of them.

  • We have fought many times for the oppressed. Now after 911 it is just as important to fight for our people. I love your video. I will admit it made me cry. It was like seeing it the morning of 09/11/2001. Everyone has an opinion, and I will respect that. You did a wonderful video and showed respect. God bless you.

  • Thank you very much for your comment. I know people want to debate the issue, but in order to keep the peace. I want to stay focused on the song and the people who gave there lives that day and continue to do so.

  • This is a really good vid. All the pics fit so well.

  • I was really trying to convey the "important" people of the day in the video. Lest we forget them.

  • Interesting how the Rolling Stones apply to this fantastical video: "just as every cop is a criminal and all the sinners saints."

  • This is the most important video I have yet to see about these times and 911.

Yes we can turn the other cheek, even if that means, not shock and awe elsewhere.

  • The people will win in the end. For from anyone can see the people will stand up, no matter how many may have to die.

  • I'll take the last advice given to John in Revelation 22:10-11 where basically the church was told to let things be and live and let die. Its too bad the Church never understood it. Like for what Gandhi said, "an eye for an eye is only going to make the whole world blind."

  • Very interesting perspective of 911. Very well done.

  • for all of the people who have forgotten why our gals and guys are overseas fighting should watch this

  • "we will never forget"

  • wonderful tribute! Peace on Earth

  • Religous extremism in any of the 3 great monotheistic religions of this world is a dangerous thing. Whether it is the TAliban, Timothy McVeigh or Jewish extremists in Israel. Once someone tellls you that they and only THEY have the one true answer, it is time to be very watchful of that ideology.

  • no one deserved to die the way those victims died in that massacre. Truly great harm has been done to others by our nation, but nothing like this.

  • You are the same people I tried to warn during desert storm as you delighted in the deaths of innocent like it was just a cool fireworks show and patriotism. Then there was CIA atrocities in Iran before that. Then 911 comes and people are like "oh whatever did we do that this evil would come upon us?" Then you TELL God to bless america while you go after more blood. Yeh delete this too but everyone who spoke truth before you will be the witness at your eternal trial.

  • How is it when the U.S. FINALLY retaliates for attacks that have come against her, it is the U.S. who are thugs. For years and years, the "evil doers" of the middle east have consistently planned and carried out attacks all the while expecting NOTHING in retaliation. And yes, we do tell God to bless american however we don't tell him we are always right and that he is on our side...we ASK him to bless us. We don't justify our actions with him.

  • Seem to be ignorant of the continuing interference and disrespect of people of the Middle East and Asia; that has been going on for over 1/2 a century. The US has been the thugs for a long time; for political posturing and the resources of others - in Iran, Iraq, Nicaragua, etc. The CIA has called the retaliations "Blowback", since the 1950's.

  • The creation of Israel in the 1950's, relates to this part of scripture. "I will bring you back to this land"(Genesis 28:15)" and the Arab's have been pissed ever since. Notice ths is in Genesis, which means it is also in the Quaran.

Your debate back and forth is exactly what I DON'T want in my comments. No discussion of who did what is allowed. It is not germane to the video and therefore deemed off topic. So Blev1234 and clctah are blocked.

  • People die so that even one may come to the truth. Not only did most americans not come to the truth they spit in Gods face.

  • Leaving Lucifer aside, nice use of modern imagery to show the price of prejudice. The song's message about harmony and intolerance that was so meaningful in 1969 is just as meaningful today.

However, I agree that you should credit the group Coven and/or the film Billy Jack for the music.

  • Citing has been taken care of.

  • Good job. You're a righteous dude.

  • Thank you! I blocked NOBS. They just wanted to argue. Personally I don't care which way people see it. They are free to think of the extremist Muslims as the valley people or the USA as the valley people, but they aren't free to discuss that opinion in my comments section. Also I don't why people are marking down your comments. Most likely some schmuck that doesn't like you. Because this comment is perfectly fine.

  • God Bless the U.S.A.

  • more truth here then ------

what have you done for america?

  • I am a vet. I served in the very early 70s. I was in a very unpopular war. I love my country; I hate war like only someone who has seen it can hate it.,,,,,; there are times when you have to fight. I am not over my demons and I cry for those young people who are the age of my children. But I honor them; I know what a wonderful group of people we have looking after us now!!!

  • Thank you very much for your comment. I was very young during Vietnam. I remember watching tv and wondering why the people were spitting on the soldiers as they came of the planes.

Thank you for your service to our great country.

  • I served in the US ARMY in the late 1980's and very early 1990's. What have you done for "your" country?

  • Hey, that's the same time period when I was in the Army. Good to meet you!

  • God bless the U.S.A.....

  • Hopefully there will NEVER be a day like this again. This serves as a reminder to us all why America must ALWAYS stand strong. If you wern't in this great city that day you may not understand. God bless the U.S.A.!!!!!!!!!

  • Ill never ever understand why we have wars! What is ever gained from it? I cried for all whom had lost their lives in a senseless act of violence ! May our children of today find their voices and cry out as we did from the 1960's on upwards!

  • I am sorry to see that some of the people who have watched this video didn't understand its purpose was simply to pay tribute to those who died on 9/11 and to inspire patriotism. This is a beautifully sad work of art, just like the Passion (The real one, not the movie). Thank you for posting this video. My heart weeps a new tear every time I see those planes hit, but they remind me not to ever let it happen again. This video helped my decision to join the Armed Forces. Once more, thank you.

  • Nice video but the song's message is anti-war. One can still be a patriot and oppose a war. I oppose our presence in Iraq as that was shifting our focus from finding, capturing, imprisoning or killing Bin Laden and his Al Qaeda for their crimes. Iraq provided no justice for the families of those killed in the jets, the WTC and at the Pentagon. Avenging their deaths can only come from the capturing or killing of those responsible instead of those who had nothing to do with it.

  • Where did you see Iraq or Saddam Husain in the video? The song's message is ANTI-WAR, but for the five thousandth time. I created the video before the plan to invade Iraq was ever disccussed in the media. Therefore the message of the video is NOT for or against anything except terrorism. IT WAS CREATED OUT OF A SENSE OF GRIEF AND LOSS. EVERYTIME I HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS, IT BRINGS BACK THAT FEELING OF PAIN AND LOSS.

  • Fair point to a degree, but for the Bush administration, Iraq became the country and Hussein the face of terrorism, instead of Bin Laden and his cowards. Hussein is dead but Bin Laden presumably lives and breathes to reign terror again another day. That he still lives is an insult to those who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks. Hussein was no great loss but I'd rather have seen the right parties hanged for their crimes than seen Hussein made into a martyr for Bin Laden's cause.

  • I get your point and actually agree with it. If not for the attack on 9/11 but for the attack on the building in 1993.

  • Fair enough. I don't disagree with your statement. I have never agreed with the invasion of Iraq. I wish we could find Osama. I reall think he is dead and his son is masqerading as him.

  • Thank you so much for you comment, and more importantly for defending our country from terrorists whether they be domestic or foreign

  • I remember this song from my childhood in the seventies.

    I remember 9/11, too.

  • Bless us all

  • I sing this song at boy scout camp.

  • Beautifully done, peace and good will to all!

  • My God what were these people thinking. Hard to believe that it's been 7 years. And yet where the Fuk is Osama??

  • @tmpol Two years later, and they found him. lol

  • remindes me of Iraq our side went for

    treasure (Weapons of Mass Destruction)

    and found nothing

anyway its got oil that will do

    take care all

  • John,

You quote me. Then you completly miss the whole point of the video as well as when it was made. You have to put in it context. This video was made before we invaded Iraq, before everyone and thier uncle knew just how stupid George W. Bush really is. So when you post something like this I take great offense at your comment.

  • are you stupid i was quoting what you said

    its called sarcasim

  • nicely done...lest we forget..GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!

  • its not my video

    what do you mean

    noiui

  • He didn't notice that your comment was a quote from my description above. Maybe it would helpful when quoting to actually put " quote marks around what you are quoting. Have a Nice Day.

  • dondean17, you can't please everyone. I am sure you did this with all good intentions, otherwise why bother, right? More true patriots is what we need, not people coming over the boarder breaking us down slowly, but surely. We all need to pull together, not fighting and bickering among ourselves that will bring us anywhere, but DOWN! lOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF. Yes, it is hard, and you can still love your brother, and still watch your back, to love doesn't mean to let people walk all over us

  • i was a us soldier(a ranger)i've fought for this country. i'm proud of the men and women who have fought and those who have also died for this country remember all of us in your prayers.

  • I respect your rights

But this is not a democracy its my video

sounds a bit dictatorial to me

Especialy when one listens to the words

    of the sound track

So if you think I am disrespectfull

Do what any good dictator would do

    and wipe out my comment

    thanks

  • SCOTISHJOHN, this is your video, you filmed it in nyc?

I see your point on the sound track. I was looking for the song, only ...and you know how you get on these sites and just keep clicking away. Must have been a sight, I had family on the same street working, fortunately they were not hurt, my heart bleeds. God bless you!

  • I was getting a lot of comments that were derogatory when I first posted this video. It's meant to discourage people from posting inflammatory remarks. Additionaly it is meant to encourage reflection on how that changed the entire world, not just America. I don't have any clippings from the Mumbai incident or I would possibliy make a video about that as well. I would prefer to have a peacful world.

This video was created in SEP&OCT of 2001, well before the invasion of Iraq.

  • Son i was fighting in Iraq long b4 u were born , i aint critisisn u , but i lost a few gd friends in 92 ,

  • I was referring to invasion of Irag in March 2003. Not Aug 2, 1990, I remember that day as well. I was returning home from Florida, when I left gas was at 0.88$/gal and I drove for six hours in to Tenn and the price of gas went up to $.138 in that span of time.

So I can asure you that I was born before 1992 as I was also in the infantry during the invasion of Panama on Dec 23, 1989.

And this video is ***NOT*** anti-war.

  • scot...i think it was wonderful. Very well done. i wish we were all as patriotic as we were on 9/11. I live right outside of dc and i heard it when it went in the pentagon. I remember all the flags flying....how soon we forget. thanks again...i just put it on my ipod.

    Nici

  • The best and most unusual interpretation of this song. Most videos imply the US as being the valley people while yours portrays the US as the mountain people and I agree. . Your video captures the essence of "American Exceptualism". Good job.

  • This is a wonderful video. I was watching tv when this broke thru, my heart stopped, the tears flowed, I couldn't call anyone.. I was frozen. I was 8 when this song was released. I knew what it meant then and what it means now to me. I lost family in nam, and have lost friends in Iraq. Do I support this war, I support our men and women who are doing what they think is best. My son returned home in one piece. When others haven't. 9/11 - no matter why - ppl died. THEY should be remembered..

  • A day to remember.

  • i feel they should have the people who dies not the fuckin terrorists

  • well done! I am Canadian and that day still haunts me

  • whoah.

I was little when that all happened.

  • A beautiful tribute...thank you.

  • that video would fit better is usa's secret actually was "peace on earth" instead of "steal, rape and murder".

  • This is close to being derogatory. I believe in an America that is interested in a better tomorrow. Not beating the shit out of everyone. You can thank anyone that has asked us for "help". So before you go saying Steal, Rape and Murder" you need to look at the last century and not one or two moments in time. We now have a chance to come out of the darkness and be the nation that the world needs us to be.

  • No Justification. Those who bring wrath, will suffer wrath.

  • wow, intense video. very impressive. that song was in one of my fav. movies, and I never thought I'd feel the impact I did from that again, you proved me wrong, in a good way. I remember where I was when I heard, at the bus stop with my neice and nephew, went home and watched the news the rest of the day. Never forget that day, to prevent it from happening again. God Bless the victimes, families, and God Bless America!!!!

  • This song fits perfectly

  • we must never forget

  • It's good to remember the tragedy of 9/11 and to honor the victims and the heroes of that day but this video portrays Osama as being responsible. The ugly truth is that 9/11 was one in a long line of US false flag operations designed to make the American people support a war. War means big money for the ruthless elite and it is this elite who are the real enemies.

  • Like so many people that comment on here. THE POINT OF THE VIDEO IS NOT TO LEGITIMIZE THE WAR. It has nothing to do with the war. It has nothing to do with who made the attacks. IT HAS EVERYTHNG TO WITH WHAT WE LOST THAT DAY. Without being overly religious, it is my firm belief that Lucifer was the main architect of this tragedy.

  • My mom sang this song to me and it was an intense moment... I saw this and I cried...

kudos. I mean I guess we learn from the pain right?

World Peace starting now with inner peace.

    KD

  • Thanks for your comment

  • i was 10, and i walked into the living room to watch what happend, i thought it was a movie at first, but after a while i realized it was real. i know a couple fire fighters, and i hope to be one someday soon.

  • This brought tears to my eyes. It happened on my 42nd birthday, my daughters 15th. I have been a firefighter for 21 years now, and lost 343 brothers that day. Thank you for posting this.

  • I hope this video helped you in someway. I tried to capture everyone that was "important" on that day but I just relized I missed an important person. The policeman of the NYPD. Thank you for your kind words. May god bless you and keep you safe.

  • I remember EXACTLy what i was doing when this happened. I was listen to the radio at work, when the DJ can on and told us what ws goin on. I sat down where i ws and started crying. This ws one of the most HORRIBLE things that has happened in our country. I still pray for the victims and families of this tragedy. Alot of people dont even think of it anymore. Never forget! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

  • That song with those images...

Skimming around on this song, as an older guy from the "Billy Jack" era who remembers the earlier song, by the Canadian group Original Caste. Striking words, always...

...but I imagined them socially naive, like me as a small town kid 30-odd years ago, thrilling over this blunt Canadian protest song, turning into the theme of a big indy movie of its time.

    The song is still alive.

  • Thank you for your comment

  • FREEDOM! does anyone who reads these comments know what that means? or much less know what it costs AMERICA! we got caught with our pants down...it hasn't happened since, and it won't happen again! thanks for the video...it hurts to watch it but...it's a reminder. WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!

  • I wish this had never happened.

  • You and several billion other people I suspect.

  • it didnt... i was extremely touche

  • It was a very sad day and this video brought tears to my eyes too. I was there. I knew people who perished. I was right across the river.

  • I am so sorry for you loss. I was 700 miles away and have only the vaugest of ideas what it would have been there.

On that day I got a call from my sister. She said turn on the tv, you won't beleive it. I didn't. I was like what is going on. I watched in horror as the second plane slammed in to the building. I am still ....... horrified by the events of that day. I don't want to remember it, but I will never forget it. I made this video shortly afterwards. Hope I didn't offend you in anyway.

  • What a sad day it was... This video brought tears to my eyes. "Peace on Earth" yes it would be a wonderful thing... Thank you

  • Over 200 People Jumped

I still find that the most shocking aspect

  • I agree with you. When I was watching it on TV, I was like what is that black thing falling from the tower. When I relized what it was, I was horrified. In fact I was taken aback by your comment and had think about it. But then I said to myself this needs to be remembered. Thanks for posting.

  • This is the first patriotic video of this song I've seen. Nice work. Another video made by a complete idiot portrayed Saddam as the good guys of the "Kingdom of the Mountain" and the U.S. as the bad guys who kill everybody. Anyone who has seen the animation of this song would know what I'm talking about. I pointed this out to him and he deleted my remarks because he realized he looked so stupid. Clearly, a Saddam-loving pervert.

  • Why must people argue about who perpetrated the attacks. Is it not enough that hundreds of families lost friends and loved ones in the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and that Pennsylvannia field?? To argue about which person sent the attacks is pointless..it does no good for those left behind to carry on and pick up the pieces of their shattered lives. We all know who hurt the country that I love they all can be classified as one thing terrorists. This was a beautiful tribute with a moving song.

  • Thank you so much for your insight. If I didn't say it plainly enough before then let me say that your comment is exactly what I mean.

  • trouble is ..You should care ,google the movie Zeitgeist skip 1st 3 min then put on your seatbelt...

  • It's not that I don't care. It's that I don't want to debate the whole story here in my comments section. I want this to be a tribute to the people that perished that day and remember what we lost and continued to lose since then.

  • Thank you. Billy Jack was one of my favorite movies as a child, and this song an even more favorite, I even made my children watch the movie. It's so awesome to see this used as a tribute to our own country. War is ugly, lives are lost, but I will always remember those lives that were lost. Again, thank you!

  • Trouble is, the wtc attacks were neither designed by Usama Ben Laden nor carried out by Muhammad Atta.

  • Trouble is you didn't read my description or any of my comments. I don't care who did it. That isn't the point of the video.

  • jeri, what did dondean517 say? Are you a retard? Also, the WTC was indeed Osama and carried out by Atta. Stop reading those absurd conspiracy theories. They make you look insane.

  • Thank you for the moving video. I am both a firefighter of many years and veteran and appreciate the sentiment. 9-11 was truly one of the most tragic days in American history. The sad part is that America, despite its faults, has always offered to share its promises...and for that we are treated as the enemy...that day had nothing to do with religion...or faith...only hate.

  • very moving video.......thnaks for posting. I'm one of the ones who say they should show these video clips everyday so people don't forget the pain and lost lives we - America - had to endure that day. thanks again.

  • Someone who understands that we are the mountain people. I was beginning to think no one on this site had a brain.

  • I was in Washington DC about a year ago for a hockey tournament and my teammates and I passed by the Pentagon almost everyday. 7 years later there's still scaffolding on the outside where the plane went through. It was very moving as is this video. 5 hockey sticks out of 5 :)

  • this video gives me the chills

  • ummmmm.... the Pentagon was repaired in record time..August 2002 completion. You must be seeing the renovations of the other parts of the building ...

  • me and my son were almost on one of the planes that hit the wtc thank god we changed our minds

  • WOW that's kinda scary.

  • yes very much so whats even more scarier is that i had a weird feeling about the plane that something was not right thats why we changed our minds about the flight weird

  • Beautiful! I love it! Keep up the good that you are doing!

  • That was beautiful yet sad. I hope you're happy!! You made me cry.

  • I'll be going to New York on a bus trip and one of the stop's is Ground Zero such a great song!!!!

  • To anyone that thinks I had an agenda with making this video:

You would be correct. I made this video as a tribute to the people that died that day.

You give me more credit than I deserve when you overanalyze the video and say at 1:28-1:33 this happened and the song said this. That is a coincidence, nothing more.

    Enjoy the video.

  • at 00:41 did u video tape that in real?!?! bc if i were u and i accutally was the person who taped that then i would so scared that i would drop my camera and run!!! LOL! :) awesome video...

  • No, I live in Michigan. I have never been to New York City. I most of this footage from NBC and CBS from 12:30 to 2:00 on 9/11.

  • oh ok but anyway i love this video

  • Thank you!

  • yw - yw is your welcome -

  • dondean517,

I want to apologize for the trash talk between cycimian and myself. I take umbrage over the use of a great video to start the unfounded accusations so common today. I wanted to express my appreciation for the video but unfortunately, I was caught up in the moment and did not use good judgement or good taste in my replies.

Politics aside, we do need to remember those who were killed that day and keep their memories clear in our minds and hearts.

    Great job on the video.

  • Also, thanks for removing the trash we posted. A tribute is not the place for it.

  • I undertand why you got upset. It seemed to me that you and Cycimian are "blog" eneimes and he just happened to find your comment on my video. If you hadn't post the good comment prior to the trash talk I would have blocked you. However, your first comment added to the messages.

  • I had never communicated with the guy before. I normally won't or don't get involved with bloggers like cycimian under any circumstances. I guess it was in the moment and his attitude really ticked me off. I didn't go looking for a fight but in this instance, there was no way I was going to back down from the guy.

Well, enough said. Again, great video and it should be viewed with the sentiment you wanted to convey in mind.

  • thank you so much for posting this i love this video

  • The images in this video take me back to that day; I was helping unload a pickup truck with some garbage to burn, when the cell phone rang with the news. I turned the radio on, and not one station was talking about it, until I found a station talking about it.

Powerful video, with one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded, to enhance it.
