Your tabby cat looks remarkably like mine, and he loves Bach too. He's even been known to come running in to the living room to listen when he hears me sit down to play the Piano, which is kinda cute when I have guests visiting, for them to see him dashing in, lol.
Wow! That's amazing. My black cat tends to jump on my lap and block the keyboard when I play the piano...not sure if he's jealous for attention or trying to tell me something about my playing! LOL
Thanks! No, I got the tabby from the shelter when she was about 2 years old, followed a year later by Toby who was about 6 months old. That was over 10 years ago.
For anyone considering adopting a cat, sure tiny kittens are adorable, but don't overlook the benefits of a grown cat - they aren't as high maintenance as a kitten, and there's no mystery as to the cat's temperment. Plus you feel really good rescuing them.
We have 4: 3 boys and 1 girl. They were all grown when I brought them home from shelters. However, the boys are very independent and aloof. The girl is very affectionate and loving -- she is really our daughter. We are looking to get one more girl.
I've been casting around for a name for my little black stray since I got her 6 weeks ago - and I shall call her MIss March now, as she has a very bossy Miss March temperament and I'm very much a Jo March! Thanks for the idea!
Wow 6 weeks is a long time to be nameless! I'm delighted to have helped inspire you. Miss March is a cute name and sounds like it fits perfectly. Thanks for sharing.
p.s. I've got some other videos posted of Toby being crazy attacking a pigeon through the window and spazzing under clean sheets. Cats can be so silly.
They look so happy :)

Amo a los gatos tanto como a Glenn Gould y a Bach.
Sin duda éstos son unos privilegiados.

The tabby girl is Chippy and the Halloween cat is Toby (short for October One - the day I adopted him from a shelter). :-)
