don't forget about PRS guitars. for one new PRS you could buy both Gibson and Fender. although that's not the matter of price, of course. everyone likes something different.
prs isnt so good. i used to have one but the neck was pretty chunky. some guitar players like that. one thing in favour of it. it sounded AMAZING! the sustain was unbelievable. but the shape will not stand the test of time like a les paul or strat. theyv already proved themselves.
ibanez is amazingly versatile. meant for shredding. theres so many good guitar brands out there tho. gibson and fender are the two biggest. i love fender strats. sound amazing. i also love big frets. deans are a fad.
i played a fender strat mexican (21 fret) verses american (22 fret) but i prefer ibanez

fender strats and gibson les pauls are the two best guitars IMO, fenders have the nice bright tone, and gibsons have the warm rich tone
