Whoops, well actually I forgot to take into account to Austrailian Aboriginies. Other than that though, ancient Egypt is pretty damn old so whatever. ;-)
In ancient Egypt, the oldest society ever in existince, they didn't give a shit whether you were male or female. People were people and they all respected each other equally, and had the same opportunity to do whatever the hell they wanted. Needless to say they were really cool. Then of course until those damn corrupt "Christians" came along on their high horse and screwed everything up.
i really just want to say that i think you are an awesome person. i think youre really smart and insightful and i respect you a lot. i am SO glad you are happy being who you are because EVERYONE deserves to be happy and comfortable with their body. thank you for sharing how you feel :)
Hey Jamie long time no see/talk! You're looking and sounding great. T is doing exactly what you want it to and that's awesome. It's great that your gender nonconformity makes coping with things easier. I could comment more but I'd run out of space here. Hope to start talking to you more again soon.
Hey Jamie, I just had to let you know that you are pretty much the most unique FTM I came across on youtube. And I've been watching people transition for nearly 2 in a half years. The reason I say that is because, I fear not being in the same state of mind being on T and your like the first person that i've seen like that. It seems that you take T just to make gender NOT matter. And that was my objective. I was never going to make my family call me "HE". I can get in touch with my fem side more.
i was just going to ask, do you think your transition to the T injections was eased by the natural transitioning before? as in, the reason you didn't have the mood swings and anger spikes and everything? it could also be attributed to your personality nd outlook on life... just curious as usual.
Thank you so very much for this vid. it really opened up my eyes to a whole new way of thinking about my experience as a transman. I never thought that that my transition might "boil down" (sort of not really) to estrogen just not being the right hormone for me. I feel a lot less stressed about it when I think of things that way. I also feel less guilty. Thinking in those terms is a good compromise between the medicalization and the personal choice approaches. Thanks!
while i prefer male pronouns to female ones... i don't see why people need to use ma'am and sir all the time either... I agree with the idea of privilege, but i have known bio-guys that do appreciate the struggles of women/queers... i've talked to a good friend about how men are always expected to be the work-mules and aren't allowed to express themselves. i totally agree that they have it easier... but maybe not as easy as we assume in every way.
Lol "the acne, bacne, chestne, shoulderne". i hear ya on that one. i'm somewhat excited for all of that, which is weird because i didn't think i would be! but, yeah. it just means t is working and that makes me happy. glad to see someone else who has the same idea.
also, good to hear an update from you. i really appreciate your videos. :)
It's so nice to see someone who is truly happy and content with who they are..Thank you for being so open and honest Jamie! Question..Are you still going to have your top surgery?! Thanks for the awesome update.
@Mskcmo i am! top surgery and clitoral release. my top surgery is scheduled for 8/2/11 but i'll be canceling that indefinitely--- i've decided i'd like to pay off my car and save money for my wedding first instead. higher priorities for now, but the ops will happen soon enough.
Jamie Im so happy for you. Everythings going well for you. Chelsea's nice too. What more could you ask for?. . . Not alot. world peace? LOL Take care.
I like how you think. I do feel like I've missed out on a lot personal growth due to that male entitlement and also feel that my social interaction has been hindered by T.
testosterone made me more calm if anything. I use to get angry really easily and after taking T it's reversed it takes a lot more for me to get angry or lose my patients.

I was having muscle cramps and my doctor said to get a magnesium supplement w/vitamin D and take 500 mg a day. It seems to be helping alot.
