This might be the best choir ever! So smooth, so fluid, and so together.
The soloist on the other hand didn't love up to what the message of this song really is. I felt like he was just singing the words other than showing us how he felt...he has a GREAT voice, and decent gestures, but there was so real emotion behind that great voice, and no real purpose behind those gestures. I loved the performance, but I feel like the solo was forced. Just a constructive criticism.
A good version if this but I'd have to say when it comes down to actual soul and emotion Hugh Maynard's version is the one that is the best!!!!!! If anyone has heard this song for the first time please go see Miss Saigon!!!!!
This is very indulgent and self-serving of Taylor Hightower to use students as his personal backup chorus. Something gives me a feeling that whilst teaching voice, he sings a lot rather that focusing on the student. Blech.
