Superion Upgrade kit

Hey there Bikertrash. I'm curious about the pivot in the feet, allowing the figure to have that splayed-out stance. Is there something in the new feet that does this?

i put this together just now, very nice. no problems with the kit but my biggest problem with the actual figure is the connector joints for the legs. if i try to bend the knee on either leg even slightly, the leg pops off. do you have that problem too?

Awesome set, not only does it make the combined mode better but the parts also can go onto the robot and vehicle modes too for when he's not combined. Already got the Bruticus set ordered, looks fantastic

this upgrade kit is just freakin awesome! it's just so damn expensive out here, around $70

Agreed. So many of these things are nice, but they are SO expensive that it's not necessarily worth buying - not because they're not worth it, but a lot of people can't afford them, and a lot that can are probably on their third mortgage. There's one person in particular I'm thinking about, but I don't have a reason to mention their name, so I won't.

I am actually trying to restructure my finances right now do to a little bit of a money crunch/wake up call last month... Basicly for the last several months Ihave been spending about 200 dollars a month more than I make a month.

there are prototype images of bruticus upgrade grade kit, including a swindle jeep figure and a blast off shuttle figure

Yes, and on BBTS they are listed as the Swindle for 48 dollars, and the blast off for 48 dollars. I am goign to have to wait and see what happens there. I want it BAAAADDDDLY but am not paying 100 dollars for the set.

@BikerTrashWolf well Biker hopefully one day you will get to review the Bruticus Maximus upgrade kit, I understand though I myself would not pay 140 bucks for a MP08, let alone a king Grimlock version for 230 bucks, that is why I will wait for the US release which it will be cheaper.

I hope to review the bruticus maximus upgrade. he is far and away the best of the three, and as much as this kit improves this semi-abismal figure I can only imagine the awesomeness of the upgrade bruticus. I mean they even built 2 new robots for limbs!!

@BikerTrashWolf they got nice preview pictures of it on tfsource, your Energon Scorponok is really growing on me, I saw the Superlink version and it is the same mold but a different color, I wonder if that version also turns into the full attack base mode it was originally intended for the Energon version, btw the Superlink Scorponok is almost 100 bucks on ebay, too much I think for what I am willing to pay for that figure.

Thats part of the 30+min I deleted from the Superion review, i said the look like raptors... but not quite so they are just mystery jets.

They are, only jet that looks like that is the f-22, it's based off the design, I know energon starscream is.

bbts and tfsource are taking preorders for the Bruticus Maximus fansproject upgrade kit, it looks mighty awesome, it takes a third party manufacturer to turn a mediocre looking combiner into a fantastic looking one.

Josh you should get the snow version cause this one look like a prototype I mine last month from TFSOURCE for 49 dollars and it was the snow version

Did you ever consider getting the snow-white (or whatever it's called) version of this set instead? I don't know which to get!

Check out one of the new figures from fansproject, Springer (tfx defender), it will actually come with diecast parts!!

"Snow man" kit is is IMO nice, since it he then look more G1-ish. I have that kit and I love it. However there's very few made... I think around 500 sets.

Well that is true, I didnt think abotu that the G1 superion had all white accessories... I still like the gray though.

very nicely done Biker, that is the only reason I got me the ROTF Superion to add the upgrade pieces to it, because it just looks like shit as a combiner without them.

Ya, the right arm on mine was loose too! You'll need to put some super glue on just the ball part of the joint, let it harden and then snap the leg back on and that will make it tight.
