  • @mjai23 Sorry, but blindly saying the same stupidity over and over will not be permitted.

  • Whoa, whoa עזר just means helper or to help, support, this plus the video where she says that questioning someone's teaching or heresy hunting (checking scripture) is unbiblical seem a little contradictory. Hebrew is a language you really have to be careful with or it just becomes nonsense. This makes my nose burn....

  • @Rexlove1 Both Biblical languages need to be studied carefully, otherwise we can get ourselves tripped up and come up with all sorts of wacky doctrines that have nothing to do with God or His Spirit.

  • Hey I know this is off topic but could you make a video talking about your opinion on this new bacteria they found? I guess they are pretty sure it isn't from earth. I was wondering if the bible says specifically that there is only life here or if it just says earth was made first with man and not mentioning other planets. God bless!

  • @Geno1324 I have not heard of this new bacteria. The Bible does not say if God made life on other planets. He made angels, who don't need planets to live on, as far as I know. But other than that, the Bible is silent. So when the Bible is silent, it's usually best for us to remain silent.

  • YHWH IS A MALE A MAN LIKE ME BUT A HIGHER BEING SPIRIT.

  • @MRFINESSESPEAKS I would not say Yah is a "male," at least not as we know maleness. He is Spirit, which is beyond gender as we know it.

  • I really don't care for these women who try to rule over men--the Holy Spirit is neither male or female---it cant procreate, although it is GOD---I also notice when women rule over men in churches or in the home, it is a disaster. (my opinion) I think women who got that way, either had a father who wanted a boy, or was treated badly as a girl by men in her surroundings--so they feel they could make it up by 'ruling over them'

  • Why does Monica keep insisting that we think the HS is male? Are their Christians that believe in a male HS cause I thought the HS being the Spirit of God is genderless or gender neutral and that's why the greeks use the word pnuema a genderless word to describe the HS.

  • @cubed07 It's probably because the male language in the Bible. Yet we know this language is not literal. God is a Spirit and is neither male nor female in the literal sense. God uses male terminology like "Father" and "Son" for our understanding, and surely Jesus while on earth was male, but God in His essence is neither male nor female, yet His image is represented in humans both male and female. She is simply confused and needs to study more deeply.

  • @CRoadwarrior When you said God's image is represented as males and females I think this is wrong. Man was created in Gods image and women was created fromman. So really only men were trully created in Gods image while women were created in mans image.

  • @Dobogio Scripture is clear that both were made in God's image, although woman came from man. Genesis 1:26 makes it clear that God created humankind "male and female." It stands to reason that if Adam was made in God's image, and Eve came from Adam, that this image must also be reflected in Eve since she came from him. This is similar to how we have kids that reflect us, in our image.

  • I have never heard of Dr. Martin before but he used the same example of Judas that I do.Also I've never heard of collapsing context but I prefer my term, "Shotgunning Scripture", better in describing ripping verses out of context and lining them up to shoot out one by one.

  • Wow, Amen

  • Like the difference between Maid and Servant?

  • @vesperus1981 Yeah, something like that.

  • Excellent Video Brother CRW!!!

  • Dr. Martin is one of my mentors too. He was such a gift to the body of Christ. Great point about the Septuagint

  • @bondservant40 What's great is that we have so much of his work recorded that we can STILL be blessed by his wisdom and gifts. The Septuagint and the lexical study help a great deal in this case to show that Monica's comparison was a stretch at best. She just saw two words that seemed on the surface level of English translation to be synonyms and didn't bother to check further.

  • Your "spiritual father"...I can related to your usage as a member of the Church, yet I find it interesting that a schismatic would use it as we do and find it acceptable. In any case, all of these details have all been carefully worked out and settled millenia ago by doctors of the Church, and yet protestants continue bickering about it.

  • @ytuseruber Part of the problem is that many "Protestants" do not read the writings of the early church fathers and theologians because they see them as "Catholic" and thus automatically in error. I have learned that this is not a valid way to understand church history. People who have gone before us do have many things to offer if we would listen, but carefully. Everything written in the past is not correct.

  • @CRoadwarrior Amen. The Catholic Church does not hold that everything written in the past is automatically correct. And regarding some protestants not reading the Fathers of the Church because they are in "error" are in the train of the cults. It is the Church and the Fathers that passed on the Trinity, the Lord's day, the canon of the Bible, the dual nature of Christ and on and on. In short, the Catholic Church is the Church, all others are separated brothers.

  • Thanks for the hermanutics study. You can't go wrong with the late great Dr Walter Martin. I am so thankful for you & your ministry my dear brother in Christ.

  • Can't hear anything around the 4:30 mark

  • @eazail Sorry, but the volume goes down around there. But you can hear better if you turn up the volume on the player.

  • You are correct. People don't release that in the Garden, God said, let us make "man" to our image." The man was created first, female was created secondly. Also, the angels in heaven are also of a masculine gender so to speak. The feminine movement and this idea that women are to rise above men is un-Biblical. Also, women are not to be preacher and pastors........The is the demonic era of the Church.

I'm a woman and I approve this message.

  • @Gentilejedi I would not say women are not to be preachers (see my series on the topic). That claim is unbliblical and has not been studied carefully.

  • @CRoadwarrior You Rock anyway...

  • Good stuff i love your extensive research. Just because the word is Masculine doesnt specifically mean a male but the holy spirit has no gender and even tho the holy spirit is a person you cant call a person IT unless you are refering to a transsexual jk. but Also the word "Man" is also used alot in the bible and is not always gender specific usually means person or people. correct me if i wrong plz

  • WAZZZZZUP Roadwarrior! Where's the spiked football pads man???? This is great atuff. I like the description of the point of collapsing context. I have tried to explain this in the past and didn't know the term. God bless ya brother.
