Every track is different as you say - the instructors told us to use that much of the track to get the faster times. Wasn't bad at all in terms of vibrations, you are just on them for a short time. Is hoping for more drive time later this year!
You treated the klang dots like they were part of the track surface. On some courses you can get away with this, but there are lots of places where the dots have a big elevation change and it's like running over a washboard. Throws the car off all kindsa bad. The vibration numbs your hands, too. Not that I know anything about that. [cough]
I'm saving up to take the 1 day combo, either at Limerock or Watkins Glen as I'm from NY. That's my first step into racing and imo a GOOD one. I play rFactor and GTR2 also but I didn't get a clutch pedal yet. Thanks for this cool video and good luck racing Actcochise!!
Yeah, I race karts and have read just about every book on racing technique. I also practice heel and toe on my race simulator, Rfactor. I have a three pedal setup with in line shifter.
Yeah, I race karts in the World Karting Association, but I play race sims where you have to get good at blipping otherwise you can spin (like real). I also have read just about every book on racing technique out there.
I'm just as to why you attended Skip Barber's. Do you race at all? You've got some skills man. I want to go just to have some fun. Thanks for the reply.
Great driving! That was really cool watching you hit all your apexes/cone targets. I can't beleive you got to drive at Laguna Seca! I want to attend Skip Barber's at Laguna Seca so bad! That is the coolest circuit in the world- gotta love that corkscrew!
Yeah, you really need to blip the throttle more coming into the corners. As you go faster, you'll find that if you don't blip enough, you will spin quite violently.
I don't frankly recall - I don't think we double clutched, we heel and toed though, but I could be wrong..been a couple of years now.

I am sure you are right! Heal- and toeing is a skill that it takes a lot of practice to master!

you need to double clutch, not even heel toe cause those cars are non synch.. i just did the three day at mid ohio... wow so fun.
