I really think that all of you are mental. First he doesn't even know the rights words. Second he sounds nothing like anthony kiedis. Last the guitar isn't how it sounds in the song. His cover sounds nothing like the original which was at least 50 million times better then this. @ ortoPilot if you want to sing like this then this isn't the band you should cover, a great song would be through glass by stone sour, try it.

In my opinion, not sure if its fact, covers should sound like the original to determine if the person doing the cover is capable of playing like professionals. I do however feel that vocal covers can sound different because as long as you're using the same lyrics its the same song.

@iCanMakeComents I see what you are talking about, but for already talented artists covering professionals, or even professionals covering professionals, generally they have a different take on it. Not always, but most of the time. Look at Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah, it was originally a jazzy blues song by Leonard Cohen and he made it into a very slow, albeit amazing, song. The same cake, but with different frosting. :)

Not a bad cover, I liked how you put ur own feel into it. The pre chorus has a reggae sound too which is cool but the chorus was anti-climactic due to changing of reggae back to rock. they both have different rythems so different feeling to it. if you can perfect that part i'll be glad to hear it again :) Good luck!
