I'm almost certain Skyler was actually pregnant in season 4. Or if not currently pregnant, recently pregnant. The directors did their best to hide it. Watch again, lots of shots above the waist, or she's sitting down behind a desk, loose clothing, etc. Working actors don't just gain weight without a reason unless they're Rob McElhenney.
